That makes all of the second breeding of Logan x Belle cross
having treed their own coon by the time they were 8 months old.
Belle is due in heat around the 1st of May and I am planning on breeding her again.

If you breed them again i for sure want a pup. Took shine by herself the other night she went 700 yards and had a coon on the outside and then i cut her again and she went 400 yards and had the coon on the outside up a big den. she is a very accurate dog. Do you know where the chop mouth came from, she is more chop on track than bawl. thanks derek

I don't have a clue where it came from. The male I kept that is a
mate to shine was a chop mouth track dog. I sold him and bought
a littermate brother that is bawl/squall track dog and chop mouth tree dog. I know that one of the males out of the second litter is a chop mouth track dog. I don't know about all the dogs in their pedigree but all the ones I know anything about are bawl mouth track dogs. Both Logan and Belle are bawl mouth track
dogs with dying bawl locates and chop mouth tree dogs. I will
post on the board when I get her bred and know for sure she is with pups. My male that is mate to Shine is doing good. I got him snake bit two weeks ago but he is fine. I went Tuesday night and he made two den trees.

she throws 5 or 6 chops to a squeally bawl. she has a nice locate and is a super nice every breath tree dog. I am use to it but it would b tough for some people to call.

I had a litter mate female I got from Gary out of that same cross, she was a natural, she was at the point of needing to be singled out and our hunting ground in the river bottoms was flooded out so I had a guy in Western Arkansas near the Oklahoma line hunting her for me , he said she was a Good one and the week before I was to go pick her up he was hunting her she got killed on the highway while hunting supposedly, almost made me puke ! I was offered $1200.00 for her when she was 10 months old, should have taken that offer but I wanted the dog ! LOL

Hi Bill,
I spoke with Joe a couple of weeks ago and he said he was going to try and get her up to you. I heard so many good things about this pup through the years from "If I wouldn't have seen it, I wouldn't have believed it" to what Gary Uchtman told me one time that she "was the real deal".
But the two things that Joe told me about her was that "He believed that the lord gave him his best dog when he was up in age" and that "If he ever had a dog that deserved to be a GrNiteCh, it was her".
I am glad to see her going up by you. Have fun and I think that she and Sam will make a great cross.

Hey Bill I am tickled to know that you have Bonnie at your house.
I know you can and will get her finished quickly. Terry Tibbs hunted with Bonnie when she was just over a year old and he
told me if he had not known her age he would have thought he was hunting with a 4 or 5 year old dog. He said she would tear a hole in the dark and she was split from the other dogs twice the
night he hunted with her and she had the coon both times. Good Luck with her. I know it will be fun hunting her in the hunts. Call
me sometime 205-361-2694.

How did NtCh Vandeven's Blue Capt'n Hook hunt? Anybody have any pictures of him?

Can someone post Albert 3's pedigree? I'm hunting a female for Ed Bridges that he is going to breed to my Brummy dog. She is out of Albert 3 and a heavy Rambo bred female. I took her for the first time tonight and she impressed me on the one dump I made with her.
