DJ stopped in last night while we were loading the dogs, heading for the lake, to hunt out of the boat. He was headed for town to see his new girl friend, had on his new john deere shirt and his new jimmy johnson hat. Ask how all yall were doing and hoped to get back to hunting soon, said his new girl friend might hunt with him. I told him poor Lucy ' rags n lucy' just waisting away on the chain, he said he would start getting her out soon. Ill text him today and tell him we treed 5, Stepper treed 3 and Ricks Jitterbug dog out of Hardrock, treed 2. His mouth will get to watering.

Went to Roanoake to hunt with Bradley Huckelby last night, took Stepper and took him a young female that was in heat, Bradley hunts every night all night and didnt have but one young dog, told him he could have her and see what she made, she been in about a week. We hunted, but Stepper acted stupid, smelling his female, guess where I rode him and the female in heat over there, they finally got treed in a drain tile. Bradley said WOW, a month ago I hunted with DJ and Stepper, they both were independant and would get in there and get a coon, a month later and all either one of them want to do is Chase Girls, I told him Ole Stepper will get over it soon as the smells gone, I dont know how we will get DJ straitened out.

LOL, you wouldnt have to check it. Stepper back to form tonight, him and Ricks Jitterbug dog split 30 yards apart, both held tight, both had coons.

Only bout 6 weeks till RU, Time to get serious and hunt Ole Stepper every night, pulled my little trick I learned on that one last night, put the red lens over the led light, put it in that ole coons eyes and kind of rocked it, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, real easy, put him to sleep and he fell right out on Ole Steppers head. Figured what the heck, he done fell out , might as well not waist him, so we got Ols Stepper off him and took him over to Ricks Jitterbug dog and pitched him up and let him fall on her.

Stepper got treed in the middle of Essex beaver pond tonight, like to never got to him, ole coon would peep at me now and then but couldnt get him to look at the light long enough to hypnotize him. Ricks jitterbug dog was split a different way, she quit before he got to her, aint found her yet. hope she turns up tomorrow.

Terry's wife's brother has a young dog off Rags and a Izzy female. Big mouth , super good looking , doing real good. Terry said he really liked him.

Thats Great, I been hunting the little female I traded tc out of, I was braggin on how easy east tenn boys was to trade with, besides west tenn boys, Wheeew I see why, I got skinned something Aweful.
