Light'in treed one coon while time was called 2nd coon 20-30 sec. after hunt was over. Then spilt tred first night on a den other dog had coon on outside he still looked good in SC even with all the bad breaks.

back in indiana as of about 1 hour ago, he crossed out of Ohio into Indiana, heading for home. He did report that he got win # 3 towards UKC Grand Night last night with Light'in. He should have no problem finishing him to Grand.

we got a yote Monday morning . We have this 257 Roberts, Ackley Improved, that is a delight to shoot, using 87 grain balls. The scope is an 8 X 25 power. This piece is hand made and all the ammo is hand loaded. Mark, my son, and Mr. Hall, who built this rifle, do a lot of competition shooting all around the nation. The piece weighs just under 11 lbs, hence, no recoil and it has a hair trigger. You need to shoot off a bench or shooting sticks. It;s much too heavy for me to try offhand. We shoot out of the yote shack over bait at 200 yards. The yotes just haven't found the bait yet, but when they do, watch out. Rosemary and I will have a ball on weekends. I will have a ball through the week.

I, also, am hearing a lot of good talk about that first litter from Light'in X Ellie Mae. We sure are hopeing our pup from the second breeding does as well. We plan on giving it our all.

How many yotes u killed this week ???

Got a call from Russ lastnight he said he found one of them little female dead said he was never trying to raise pups in the winter again this is off Ellie May.

I told him as long as she is in good health & the way these pups are doing I would breed her again.I think he might !!!

He was telling me he was breeding Dual Gr. Cedar Creek Bunny back to Light'in ((SOON)) as she cycles.Russ is really likeing what these pups are doing on the first cross off Ellie & Light'in !!!!!!!!!!((MONEY)) cant buy them as of rite now.

Russ is a ((FINE MAN)) if u ever meet him u will find it out real QUICK !!!!

You are thinking like I am, the gip off Huey will be bred back to Light'in & Rock this should make a nice cross.

My son will hunt her hard this year & try to get her ready for some hunts we are looking forward to putting sometime in her, we feel this will be some real good line breeding & this is a different gip than the one Josh Guffey owns.

Will let you know how things go,if these pups dont make coondogs then we better just quit.
