I am really liking what I see with Gus,he is really a nice hound.Gus has adapted to the Ga. weather.I am planning on breeding Gus to Star to get a litter of early pups off of Gus.
He sure is loaded with some good old Smokey River breeding.

Thanks for letting me get Gus,the price was right and he fits into my program.

Matt, I want to tell you that huck is turning heads up hear in michigan. This dog is got one horn on him and that a under staement for sure.. He has been winning his water races now and has been running track. We entered him in a treeing contest yesterday at a walker sec. and he smoked them all with 68 + they cuoldnt even get an accurate reading on him. This dog has one hell of a mouth on him, he is a very natural dog and has all the instinct that a great coon dog will have. I think people will be hearing alot about ole huck sometime in the near future..

I would love to hear his mouth.if you ever have a chance to record it and put it on this thread it would be great.I know Stinger can sure put on a tree job.how many wins do you have in the water races?

Larry Storts bred two females to Stinger last night they have alot of Docs Hussler in them he said they are hard tree dogs.when I get their pedigree his old Kate female was bred alot like Stinger I`ll post it on here.I seen Turbo Blue last night he sure looks good.talk to you soon !

i would like to hunt with tree daddy i have a female outta the brussel dog she is line bred on greyson paul's maramack line heavy sr with a shot of jet v she is a ntch and lacks about 2 cast wins from pkc ch i drew turbo and tom at the ashland hunt this year and would defintlry consider breeding into this stock. ask tom about her very good mouth split trees i just could win the cast. i drew tom friday. every one says tom is always behind a winner and i saw that in turbo and now he has legend. i would really like to get some more of this blood in my kennel in would be next year as she just came of pups from ron taylors son dog. but would like to set up a hunt thanx jay dengg

You can come up anytime and hunt with him.I work second shift ,let me know when your free and lets turn them loose.Tom has did good with Turbo and Legend.Robert Welch has the third litter off of Tree Daddy.my Jbelle is bred to him now and due Sept 16-18 .Jbelle and and Turbo blue has the same dam Mosquito Creek Sadie Mae. Gus is from the same cross that Glynn is using on his breeding above.Jay I think Tree Daddy is reproducing some good ones like his mother Sue has.give me a call .are you coming to Oaks?Thanks for the compliments on Tom and Turbo Blue and Legend what a combination.please get hold of me.I would love to show him.
Glynn, the cross looks good.wow I need to get some more buddies up here to take care of a female from this cross.I`m loaded up on Stinger females.these ought to have great big mouths on them.keep us posted.

I went with Mike Jennings tonight he was handling Turbo Blue.I took Stinger we had a good little hunt.he sure like`s the way they get struck and treed,I took some photos and i`ll try to get them loaded in the morning.sure is nice 55 out .sure makes it easier on the hounds.I will start thawing the fish out in the morning for the get together at Greenville.should be a great time.

Gus looked good by himself on Thursday night.WE made 4 drops and saw 3 coons.On the 5th drop Gus was going back and forth between 2 trees both had a coon in them.
I will be breeding Star to Gus on next Thursday.

Hello Matt, thank you for taking me hunting with Stinger the other night. He sure doesn't let any grass grow under his feet & is a very nice stand on the wood no nonsense stay put tree dog. matt check out some of the pics and video's titled son and cheddar these are her first litter and even though they are only 10 weeks there wasn't a shy one inthe bunch and all of the owners seem very pleased i made this cross on the advice of greyson paul he told me to cross some jet in with the smokey river once in a while. the next litter i want heavy smokey river too cross the male from the son cheddar cross on too the heavy sr females. hey have you ever check out johhny claibornes jumbo hound he has some of the best smokey river blood in him just thought if you needed to outcross any females you should give him a look hes a grntch and man what a mouth he is all coondog. smokinguns has his ped.

Thanks for the compliment on Stinger that`s the way you find him feet on the wood and most of the time he has his toe nails tight hugging the tree.I dropped him five total drops.Tom said the last he went over a mile.we had a walker man Randall with us he said he loves the way he went hunting and couldn`t believe the Tree dog he is.it was kind of funny Larry Storts bred a female to him and said thats what he was breeding to him for was the hunt.hes not perfect could use more mouth but does good here.
Craig I had a visitor to Wayne Baker and his son in law stopped by thursday and I spent a good part of the day with them yesterday.He sure is a dandy of a person and never a dull moment with him around.you have a rain check and I hope you can find time to use it on a nice weekend.sooner the better.
I have heard a lot of good things about Jumbo and I would love to go hunting with him.he is loaded with some very good smokey river hounds in his pedigree. it would be nice to see a Stinger or Tree Daddy or Legend female crossed on him.mabe next year it could happen. I have went out on a limb again and bred four females,two to Tree Daddy and the other two to Legend,I`m trying to keep it going here on my end.I`ll check out Son and Chedder video`s .I`m hearing good reports on son pups.I would like to see Grayson hunt with Stinger.I know he likes a good tree dog I think he would be hard pressed to find many tree harder then stinger.thanks and lets make a hunt sometime,
I had another great night out with tom and Legend we looked at six singles.Tree Daddy had the Legend clinic put on him.what a showing with the moon being so brite.thanks guys and have a HAPPY HOLIDAY!

Huck has won two heats not an overall yet but he is only 10 months old swimming nose to nose with champion dogs. He absolutly loves water and when he sees it starts a blowing his horn..
