Andrew - I've heard nothing but good things out of those Pearl x Pinner pups. They are going to be at a perfect age to start getting pushed this year. I loved the video you sent me. She's got a beautiful mouth, just like I expected

Zach Steffen's Peggy female played a trick on him and isn't in heat yet but he said she should be coming in really soon.

I'm ready for our Iowa Winter to break so I can start hitting the woods. Shouldn't be long. I'm trying to be patient. Our Iowa State Winter Banquet is coming up in a week and a half and I'm looking forward to seeing a bunch of the crazy Iowa coonhunters there. Always a good time and a great way to support the state association.

1. Pinner is a bigger, muscular built type of dog. He's about a 70lb dog.

5. His oldest pups are 2 year olds and he's still producing good size litters. I have semen stored at Dean Bitzel's (Nevergone) in Indiana and Block SportHounds in NC.
6. His sire & dam were COONDOGS and REPRODUCERS. Pinners littermates are COONDOGS and REPRODUCERS. Pinner is a COONDOG and is proving his ability to REPRODUCE.
7. Pinner turned 9 years old in November.
8. Stud fee is $250 for live breeding and $350 for semen.


If anyone is interested in breeding to Pinner or just going for a hunt with him let me know. I also have pups now and again out of him or can get you in contact with someone with pups for sale. Thanks for your interest!!

Joey passed away when Buster was about a year old. I had bought some Hillbilly Deluxe semen to breed to her to but never got the chance. As soon as I get the right Pinner female, she's going to get bred to Drifter semen.

PKC Gold Champion Half Breed Darby (Pinner's littermate sister) was also a COONDOG and REPRODUCER!! Darby was a Cedar River Classic 4 Wheeler Champion and has reproduced two other 4 Wheeler Champions (Half Breed Lil Jess & Half Breed Rush).

Havent had her out in a week or so, our rest period is in after season. But last two times out, she treed two different times with my other dog. Both times she ran the track and treed good. She has started several tracks without treeing before this. Almost always off to herself, seems to care less about what my other dog is doing. Going to start taking her alone in some places I know have some coon.

I've got a male. I took him twice with my older dog and he went every step with her. Didn't tree but barked at coon when shot out. Act good and has a awesome mouth

Sounds like those Pearl x Pinner pups are coming right along. Thanks for the updates! I've been getting good reports on young Pinner hounds. They are starting to get to the age where some of them will be pushed in the hunts this year.

Jay Raburn from South Central Nebraska has to sell his two Pinner pups. One is out of my GrNtCh Buckeye Wild Pearl and one is out of NtCH Hardwoods Sassy. I think they are both around 8 months old. Perfect age to start taking them to the woods. Give Jay a call if you are interested, 785-854-8012.

Great new Jay!! This Pinner x Jody has got me excited!!

Zach Steffens Peggy female (PKC Gold Ch UKC Nt Ch Midnight Monster x PKC Gold CH G&W's Betty) is at my house and will be bred to Pinner this week.

I got a call from Dave Stuart yesterday and he's really liking his pup Tech (Pinner x Pearl). He split treed from Dave's Lizzy female the other night. Dave and Caden have recently started pushing Tech in the woods the last couple weeks and he's making strides and improving every time out!
