I'm still around. Don't forget about me. It's been rough I'm still trying to walk. It's been a hard way to go I hope some hunting again. Dragon will be two years old next month he has got plenty time. Good luck to those in hunting the dogs hopefully I will be able to compete again.
Well I'm back at my home and can look outside and see my dogs after 2 months. There is a long way to go This is a starts.

I just got to my home after being away 2 months. I have no clue. I'm have to learn to walk again so it will be a few before I do anything with dogs. I'm just happy to see them in my back yard.

Well got all the tic tags on the hounds. I take my walks daily. I only hope I get stronger and walk farther everyday. I hope before the year is out I can hear them in the woods. I may have to hire a handler and get some wins on Dragon. Everything I got is Grand but him so it makes things a little easier. I glad to see everyone doing some winning.

It's been 2 months and I'm not sure when I will be back to work. I'm getting stronger but my balance is off and legs are weak. I start therapy Monday so hope it will get my back in the game. I''m ready to go back to work and all the other stuff I do. It's going to be awhile.

Josh Hoffman was nice enough to let me hear Dragon run. Dragon and Syyde 1000 yards first turn out a den still learning how to walk on an uneven ground. Pretty tough not to ever go to the dogs but I'm working on it. It was sure good to hear the sound of that dog.

Went to work today after 2.5 months. My employee's clapped for me. They know how tough this has been for me with this walking and neck pain. I believe Josh is going to take Dragon for a run tonight. I will sit in the truck.
Maggie sure wants to go. She must figure since she is Dual Grand her hunt time is very limited. Magic is like the heck with it either he will take me or he wont

Got Dragon out last night. He and a walker female treed two in one tree at 853 yards called it a night. I listened at the truck. Josh Hoffman turned Dragon loose. This is his second time out in 5 months.

Josh and I went for a couple of drops. Tracking was tough or maybe Dragon just couldn't get it done tonight. He missed his coon which was a surprise but that's okay. I could tell when he treed he wasn't right. That is his first tree he has missed in a very very long time. I can't complain.
Josh dropped his walker female but she treed in a brush pile and a hole in the ground. We called it a night.

These health issues are not going away anytime soon. It sucks. Oh well time will tell what I can get done in the future. I still can't add weight to my legs like boots my body won't take it right now. I'm walking decent for a while but that is with tennis shoes on and not uneven ground. I can't run or crawl as of yet and no upper body strength at all. My left leg does whatever it wants sometimes. I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet it maybe a long long time before I can hunt again.

Any Dragon and Magic are here for you to hunt with you will just have to go get them is all.

It's not easy seeing everyone getting to the hunts but me. There is nothing I can do about it at this point. Dragon just needs a 5th or better to be Nite Champion.
Magic is looking good for 10 yrs old but we know how that goes at that age.
Maggie looks like she is getting puffy in the back but I see know other signs yet. Time will tell.
Well Congrats to all the winners and soon to be winners. I hope before the year is out you will see me and Dragon compete but who knows.

Terry Estill took we so we was able to drive close enough to the tree that I could slowly make it in there.
We took Dragon and his 8 month old Tuff male off SPUD X IZZY. We didn't have a good night but it was night to get out in the woods. At least I have a dog crate in the back of my truck instead of nothing. My balance isn't good enough to walk in the woods I see that from last night. Heck I couldn't stand on uneven ground good at all.

Yes Dragon is treedog. I little radical but not mean. He is quick to get wooded as you seen last night. Heck they even beat the coon to one tree. I can't complain being that is his 4 th time out all year long. I got him to fill the score card up and he has shown he can make things happen on the scorecard on the plus side. He isn't a babbler so when he opens his head he is to be struck as you saw that last night. I love when he matches those treedogs bark for bark on the tree. He has a lot of upside to him and I wish I could hunt him a few times during the week he would even be better.

Until we get that under control. I will have very little balance on uneven surfaces, my strength will be limited in my legs and arms. My neck hurts like hell someday and other days it is manageable. So walking on uneven surfaces like hunting is not a good idea for me at this time. Once we can maintain the swelling and get this mass to shrink I think hunting might be done. There is no time limit if I will get better. Also toes, fingers, legs and right ribs are numb. I don't know. I guess this is my test in life. I will smile and keep going. Hopefully things will change in my favor so life goes on.
