Jason, There aren't to many dogs that are as big as Jr. A friend of mine son rides him. Lol

Hunter handled Jr in the All Pink Hunt at New Philadelphia Ohio last night to raise money for breast cancer. Both of them did a good job. Jr was 1st and 1st on the first 3 drops. First drop Jr was treed 1st and circled, the other dog was split with a coon. On the second drop Jr was 1st and 1st sitting under a coon and the other dog was with him. On the third drop Jr was 1st and 1st on a den and backed by the other dog. On the last drop Jr took 2nd strike but got shocked by a hot fence and came back in. We got beat but had a nice hunt, and in the end it was for a good cause.

I have been in deer hunting mode lately and have not been running the dogs like I need to. I'm going to start hitting the woods with the dogs this week. I want to get out before the weather gets real bad.

I have 2 pups left off of Dozer X Ruby. A open marked female and a blanket back male. Both are super nice pups. If I make the trip to the Grand American the male will be considered spoken for. I have someone down there who already has a young dog off of Dozer and wants him. I do not know if I'm going.

Ron Smith has another litter of 6 Dozer pups on the ground off of his Daisy female. Daisy is off of GRNITECH Smith's Stylish Chief and NITECH Smith's Nocturnal Babe. These pups are almost 2 weeks old. If your intrested in one of these pups give Ron a call (440) 858-5379

Trixie update: took her and my young English male out last night bodie struck and went right Trixie struck and went left. listened to both split tree for about 30 minutes went to English dog first shot his coon out to him had a heck of a fight out of the coon. Trixie 70 yrds away still hammering went to her tree and shot her coon out to her lock down pressure tree dog. GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME STILL FINDING IT HARD TO BELIEVE WE GOT SUCH A QUALITY YOUNG FEMALE FOR SUCH LITTLE MONEY.

I will have a few of these pups at the Grand American. If your intrested look for Dozer's banner in the stud dog barn or give me a call 330-507-3226. These pups have been vet checked, wormed, and have all 3 of there booster shots. They are SS and PP pups. (I paid for their performance) pups are $350.

I don't have much to report at this time. I have not been able to hunt much due to my back problems. With that being said I'm also cutting down on dogs at this time. The reality is, I can't hunt them like they need to be hunted. As of now Dozer and Jr are staying with me. I have guys intrested in Choo Choo, Hoe, and Ruby. If things fall through I will post these females on here for sale.

I had a great time at the Grand. I am extremely pleased with the intrest shown in Dozer and his pups. I wish I had more of them to sell while I was there. The pups in this litter are in OH, NH, MO, TN, NC, and SC. I did keep one of the Females to mess with in the spring. She may be up for sale in the spring depending on my back and how I feel.

Choo Choo has been sold to Charlie Gray (Hi Tech Kennel) in NC. I truly believe Choo is one of the special ones. She has shown a ton of natural ability and has an outstanding mouth. Good luck with her.

I sure like how this dog is bred. James river spooner and his momma moonshiners sassy and her momma ceder hill sass laid the foundation of the dogs i enjoyed for many years....tremendous heart and tracking ability in them dogs...the hank dog off spooner also was a tremendous hound and reproducer. I have a grand daughter to spooner left. She and her sire spooners stylish luke along with ole spooner are some of my all time favorites..her name is bell. She is the 5th gen of these dogs i have owned And hunted since ceder hill sass, and i have tried to get pups out of her with no luck.. She is nine now and bred her to Sam about 5 weeks ago...i doubt again if she took...she is the end of the line of those dogs for me if i can't get anything out of her....but i am keeping My eye on dozer and probably will have to get a puppy off him soon..i wish i knew how to post pictures cause i would like to post some pictures of them ole dogs...ole spooner was a total class act..and he is perfectly positioned in dozers pedigree....
