Deer hunters are coming in now. Bow hunting will soon start if it hasn't already.

IT HAS MY BLOOD STIRRING. MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS COMING UP.

JUST LOVE FROSTY MORNINGS. I ALSO LOVE HUNTING CORNFIELDS IN THE FALL WHEN YOU CAN HERE THE RUSTLING OF THE LEAVES. TREES ARE BARE. SMELL WOOD SMOKE OFF IN THE DISTANCE. AND THE JUG OF SWEAT AMISH APPLE CIDER IN THE TRUCK WHEN WE GET BACK. SWEAT NOT TURNED HARD YET. I GOT SICK ON THE HARD STUFF WHEN I WAS ABOUT 8.

YES THEY DO. GOOD TIME OF YEAR TO REALLY GET THOSE YOUNG DOGS A CRANKING. I JUST DO NOT LIKE THE WHITE CRAP THAT LANDS HERE LATER. WHEN WE GET IT IT LAYS UNTIL LATE MARCH. MAKES IT HARD TO RUN A DOG.

Breakfast?

Guess what I ate for breakfast! A thick slice of turkey breast between two slices of multigrain toast and a kellogs protein shake. Far from a traditional southern breakfast ain't it?

1973 Snow

This was taken at the 'Westville' tourist attraction a couple of miles from here. Buildings of the period (1850's) were moved there from the area and restored.

World is full of surprises! Just makes life more interesting IMO. You CAN delete those if you think it's a clutter or don't want them in two places. It's no biggie anyway.

I HAVE RUN MY SHARE OF THEM. WE BUILT A NEW HOUSE, ALOT OF ROCKS AND STUMPS LEFT THAT IS THE NEED FOR WEED EATER. WE CLEARED OUR LOT OURSELVES, SO I GOT REAL CLOSE TO STIHL CHAINSAW. WILL NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO TACKLE THAT CHORE. MY WIFE WAS THERE EVERY NIGHT AFTER WORK TO HELP, DRAG BRUSH AND STACK WOOD WITH ME. WE HAD A FEW GOOD FRIENDS AND RELATIVES ALSO HELP. THANKFULL FOR THAT. I GUESS IN THE LONG RUN IT WAS WORTH IT. KIDS HATED IT. BUT IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE. TOLD THE BOY THAT IS WHY YOU NEED A GOOD EDUCATION OR THAT IS WHAT KIND OF JOB YOU WILL HAVE. HE GETS STRAIGHT A'S NOW.
