Nice talking with you tonite Matt. I did get your vm too. I was headed to dogs to take care of them. I'll call again later.

I sure with the temp. was that here. In the 90's here today. Kinda like living in Florida! Humidity was terrible. Storming here now again!

Hot here too.

its been in the 90`s high humidity last few days here.suppose to get down to 65 tonight.I`m gonna break Stinger out now that I have him collected.I`ll try and bring my camera and get some new pictures of him.blue book time is coming close so i need to get some new pictures of him.
anybody have any new pictures they want to share of their stinger offspring or put in a blue book let me know.

Matt,I have been in the hay field from Friday until yesterday and it has been hot hot hot.Got all the hay bailed and in the barn.
We have been playing phone tag,my phone is acting stupip.I am getting a new one Wednesday.I will try to call you tomorrow.Dixie and pups are doing great.

GLYNN.

It sounds like you have been working harder then I know I want.farm work sure can be tiring at times and putting hay and straw away is sure hard enough work.
I went with Tom and Legend tonight.I brought Stinger turned him twice, well i`ll let Tom tell how he looked.LOL.
my little Stinger and Fly female well Tom says she has heart.alot of pup in her.she ran in her first soy bean field tonight.I seen the coon and it jumped right back in the beans.the owner of the field told me it was ok to get her.i hate to see one get in a soy bean field and not come out well needless to say I found me a good row to grab her from,
we had a good hunt and seen some coon.

Been working harder than I want to but I got to get it when I can get it.Just think when it gets cold I don't have much to do but hunt.

Matt,I had him home by 4.I took him last night with Star and he treed a little with her.My grand daughter said his name is going to be Gus,so I guess his registered name will be Tell's Blue Gus.

Ive broke Stinger out and he has treed on four trees in four turns out and had coon in everyone.he sure is a pleasure to hunt,I have a feeling he is going to get alot of hunting on him I`m thinking about trying to grand him out now that I have him collected.

Big Country sure starting to bring it all together.I had a real bean field race and had the coon then he had a real nice corn field then bean field back to the woods and had his coon again he sure has a big mouth on track and a put a real tree job on the last coon. he just needs time in the timber.

I hunted Gus and Cindy on Thursday night .Gus is really coming on ,They caught a coon on the ground in a corn field.Gus really got in there.
Gus will make a dog,All the Stinger pups need is a few trips to the woods,they just train themselves.

hi matt i tried calling you a couple times today but your phone was busy. copper had 10 pups by smokey as of 5:00 am this morning when we left to run bear. mike said it looked like several were all blue. pretty hot and humid here. i can't wait till fall comes, i'm not a warm weather person at all. i'll try calling later. dennis

Dennis,Glynn,Dan,Tom,Robert

Good hearing from you guys sounds like for the most part Stinger pups are holding their own,well Tom loves Tree Daddy and is partial to him.Tom had him down his house for a week or so a few years ago,from that week of having him their is where and why he has started his foundation of blues from Tree Daddy.

Dennis I`m glad the Stinger females are working out for you and good luck raising all the pups off of copper.
Dan, keep me posted on Toby,
Glynn,keep us posted on Gus .Gus and Big Country and Jbell are off of Sadie and Stinger.
I`ll see Tom legend at the hunt later.we all know Tom needs all the good luck he can get with Legend.LOL
Robert has a litter off of Tree Daddy all blue except one male pup.
His litter will be ready to go around the second or third week of sept.
Bryan you can keep that heat its hot enough here now.

Gus treed a coon by himself on Thursday night and looked pretty good.Took Gus ans Star last night,first turnout Gus found an armadillo,we had a little talk.On second turn out Star and Gus treed and had the coon.Third turnout I turned Gus by himself and he treed the coon was in the next tree over.
The more I hunt him the more I like him,He's tight on track but now is treeing hard,won't stand on tree.
His ability sure make up for his looks.6 times in the woods,2 times you took him and the 4 times I've carried him and he is treeing by himself.
At the rate he is going I am going to have to find someone to hunt him in the hunts for me.
BOYS I AM TELLING YOU THESE STINGER DOGS ARE THE WAY TO GO

Good to hear Gus is working for you.Its good to hear he has the right mouth for you.I know he had a decent mouth.his momma was a real tree minded female and did a lot of wind treeing.good luck to you glynn and if you can get me a picture when your season opens I`ll try to put him in one of the year books .Thanks for giving him so much attn.

BOOMING BLUE LOU!

My Lou female is in heat she came in a month early with four females before her she is having a good cycle ,I`m thinking very hard about breeding her to Legend this time.I have 8 spoken for out of Super Fly and Legend.I know I said I was going to breed her to Tree Daddy .Tom is going to super stake Legend and performance him.I had been hunting Lou and she has been coming on real good.Legend is going to live up to his name and has been looking real good.he is a super outstanding young male and needs to be bred to a few quality females while he is young to see how he reproduces.I`ll post a pedigree later on Lou.

STINGER

I have taken Stinger out a few nights since I had him collected and all I can say is he has looked great five drops and made five trees with coon in them and did it in short order.he`s not in shape for a two hour nite hunt yet ,but he`ll get their.

I hunted Stinger this week he was under coon every drop except one.split twice with Legend and he had a coon both drops.Legend has continued to impress me.
I`m gonna bred my Lou female to Legend in the morning if all works out and we can get them hooked up. this is what the pedigree will look like.it will double my old mosquito creek hank also it will be doubling up my old Kate female.Kate was off of my old Salley female I sold to Tom Russell.
Legend is looking great and is loaded with some good hounds that I have personally been to the woods with.should be some real good looking loud mouthed hounds.

pups

hi matt had a really go hunt yesterday. cold trailed the first bear a mile or so before they jumped it. ran it for an hour it wound up running small circles in an alder swamp fighting the dog so i pull the pups off. they all looked good. on the way home i spotted a bear in a logging road so i backed in and emptied the box. really sounded good to hear all the pups screaming after the bear. they treed a couple times but bailed before i got there. the chase lasted 6 hours mostly in nasty swamp. annie was treed at one time for 30 minutes by her self. molly was the last dog caught. i had to walk a couple miles to get them off the chase. wish you could come see them go. i checked coppers pups thursday there are 8, 3 males 5 females, there is 1 male and one female with tan. the rest are all blue. dennis

DENNIS,

I`m glad you have another litter out of copper. she has some nice pups out of her.good to hear annie is coming on for you if your females are any thing like ruby and blue bird i`m sure they will get after one.I have five stinger females here you have three.I sure hope you can get Little Blue bred to one in the spring. the weather has cooled down and is nice,I bet the bear are moving good with the weather cooling down.
I`ll make the three generation on Lou.alot of my blood in this Lou and Legend cross.with ukc semi`s sept 18th weekend and I`m hoping to move on with Tom and Legend and Luke with Turbo Blue to Tenn.sept. 24th weekend,alot of my vacation will be used up.I want to be their to root these guys on.

I hunted Gus and Dixie last night and they looked good.I only made 1 turn out they split treed and both had a coon. they treed in the thickest place I ever been in. They both looked good.

I don`t know how you could put up with the snakes.I`m glad your liking Gus and Dixie. my jbelle and super fly looks to be bred.Toms brother has Country down his house working him for me.the weather has been cooling down at night real nice here.I sure hope it stays cool for autumn oaks.

Thanks for the call this morning,good to hear Gus is making it in Ga. I would have to say with the old Diam Jim and Tramp blood you should get some nice mouths and hounds that will go hunting.Stinger does put the hunt in one thats for sure.keep us posted.
