I like how the dog is looking at him, lol. The most important thing is that you have fun.

.....Ever So Clever & Honest Ivan Treed Somewhere in Pa.....

Spidee & Tanman you guys did not laugh did ya's lol Great to see a young guy new to coonhunting ! Owen is Lucky he had them carharts on - how do you guys like the cold ? Rich & I spent 9hrs in NY's State forest land this past week & we froze & then we sweat do to the fact we went down the side of mountain 3 times 1st 2 times only half way the 3rd time all the way down & up into the side of next & when we got to other side the dogs were on a group of pines & we could not find coon so we walked a minute & sent them back toward side we came down over & they ended up WAY down the valley at bottom of mountain & from that tree it was 1.17 miles back to truck & I will say it was a haul back ! When we turned loose the last time it took the dogs a hr or more before they struck & Rich & I FROZE & we could not wait for dogs to get treed again & they did finally & it was a hike through some ruff valley bottoms but we got warm walking to the tree & then we realy got warm walking - 1.17 to go & 3/4 of that was all up hill & some of it was mighty steep ! I think it almost killed me lol Started in them woods at 6:30pm & came out at 3:30am Dont Get Any Better ! We will not take the path we followed through that woods again we will hunt the other side !

If you watch video above you will see one of the Best shots Rich0713 has made on a coon all yr Great shot Rich !
I am not sure where TreeBranch was when coon fell but he was close to where it landed glad it did not hit him lol It was our last tree of night & a good one ! the video of Rich skinning the coon was taken at this tree We all had a Great night some good hound work & not alot of up hill ! we only spent 8hrs in these woods ! Rich & I train our hounds to do it all Freecasting Roading & Rigging - hunting with other hounds & hunting alone I am not saying Ivan is a World beater but I can say he is a Coon Hound ! & Ever So Clever is on her way - Rich is doing a Great job with her !

Terra that is a fine looking female you guys are hunting !

Hi Barry Thanks Going to keep Rich on Clever He will do well with her But Rich & I need to come your way so you can get us & our hounds we hunt on the right track for the hunts it would be good for Rich & I & the hounds ! Would you help us out if we get there ?

Good Hunting

I have 2 doe and that is good for me.
Now its back to work on them coon I
need to get Clever ready for spring. With
all the walking Roverdog and I have
done man I am still out of shape. I need
to invest in the energy drink company.

Rich and tom it wasn't that bad when we left but let me tell you about an hour into it. Man was it cold and windy. A branch hit my ear and I thought it shattered boy does that hurt.

Owen has fun and if he keeps his grades up he may start hunting spiderman for me alot easier with another person then trying to handle 2 dogs. Watch out maybe another youth hunter from ny stepping up for the hunts????????????

Barry I have been hunting alittle bit not as much as tom and Rich but doing ok with it. How does Grizz cross with wipeout blood????? that is what I wanted to talk to ya about.

Tom late April going on a hunting spree in OHIO are you in. LOTS OF COON

RJ has been doing his best to get Maggy and I trained, but all has been able to show us is those pesky coons. We run them and just as Maggy is about to catch one, it goes up a tree.We have a lot of walking to do to catch up with them.
At least with the deer you can listen to your dog run for a few minutes then drive around and pick them up. Thats a lot less walking than them coon!!!

Tom' i enjoyed our chat yesterday sounds like you and Rich are doing your homework. Can't wait till y'all come down we'll sure get them hunt ready!!!!!!! We'll have 3 maybe 4 to get ready for the S.S. with your 2. I'd hate to get them all in the final 4 we might even let R.J. in the semi finals if he goes!!!!!!

Boys don't joke about running down deer i have 2 here that at 1 point in there life have run them down. Tom says one is the fastest dog he ever seen. All good ones will do it. Most that won't ain't got enough drive to get out of the back yard!!!!!I love the ones on the edge.------ WILD!!!!!!!!

The handler got to be smart enough to controll it!!!!!!
We laid in last night ---came a FLOOD and we're all nursing colds and we don't need Elijah getting down he's the only hope our team has!!!!!!!The 1 kid wrecking crew!!!!!HAPPY HUNTING!!

Hi Cole them dogs ate Good till we got to tree lol plenty of protien in deer meat good for them ! lol

Hi RJ I say Clever caught it lol Tanman you can join our Team we need a Black&Tan to blame our dogs bad habits on lol

Hi Mike I say your young hound on the snow site he is a looker & from the looks of your hunting conditions he is a Coon Hound that can get it done in bad weather My kind of hound ! Plan on breeding Anny if she comes again she is 9yrs now & I would like to get 1 more litter off her - Jimmy Potter owned Sis the mother of your hound at 1 time - I hunted with her a few times she had a great mouth & caught on quick she was never hunted until 3yrs old a waste of some good yrs with a hound that had all the tools you look for in a hound ! Good Hunting

Hi Barry , Your Heat hound is the fastest young hound I have seen I saw it one night in a cast in KY no if & or butts about it he left the other 3 hound in the dust on a hot running track & I mean left them ! I Like him ! Rich & I look forward to hunting with you guys & when we get to the big hunt we will have done our home work & may have a shot at winning with a little luck ! We are having alot of fun getting there ! You guys get some rest & get feeling better ! Just got of phone with Hoppy him & Ginn have lost the dogs think they are around Chestnut Lake - Hoppy needs a antanna for his collar it was broke the last time I was down maybe you could help him order one Good Hunting

Hi Bill there is a hunt I will be there but will probly not hunt a dog but I will sit in truck & listen & beep you guys out !

RJ I like dancing in my two two's lol

Rich & I hunted last night no coon seen all Big Pines Rich says all empties we dont see coon we say empties & whipp them & send them on ! lastnights hunt 4 empties & 1 gut pile lol

Rich & I are not hunting tonight getting up early to deer hunt I have missed the last 5 deer I have shot at I am getting as bad as most dogs on missing my bullets are getting to the spots before the deer I hope I can correct this lol lol
