It takes 7000 points to get 10 checks for $7 off one bag purchased. You can also get Cabelas gift certificates (which I have tried not to tell Ax about . . . lol) - checks made payable to your vet - clothing - gift cards to eating joints - etc.

We have always taken the checks and feed the pro plan as we like what it does for our dogs health and overall appearance AND it's like having hired kennel help when it comes to cleaning when feeding pro plan - there's less poop to scoop!

We find that it's pretty much self sustaining in that we very very seldon get caught buying dog food with out a check - if I do it's my fault that I didn't send in the weight circles.

Been a member for 14yrs. Allow6-8 weeks for checks!!

We just sent off a whole envelope full of weight circles last week. Here is the breakdown of points for anyone interested:

12 Points Per Pound - ProPlan Selects, ProPlan Performance, and Purina Veterinary Diets
11 Points Per Pound - All other ProPlan varieties and all Purina ONE
8 Points Per Pound - All other participating Purina brands (I.E. Dog Chow, HiPro, Puppy Chow, etc)

We feed the ProPlan performance to the dogs we are currently campaigning, and other varieties of ProPlan / ONE to all of our other dogs, excluding pups which are fed the Purina ProPlan Selects Puppy which we REALLY like. The points rack up quicker than you would think they would. When you join, you get a brochure with all of the items you can get other than the rebate checks. We're aiming for the $500 Bass Pro card!

How did you get the 21 bag pallet for 11.00 abag? I've been working on tsc for some time on pallet rate and have gotten no where yet!

TSC gives a $1 per bag discount on more than 20. Combined with the $7 Purina Check, comes to $11 per bag.

Good deal on good, high quality, safe feed. You can't find anything comparable at that price.

HOPM, tHAT IS A GOOD DEAL! i TALKED TO THEM TODAY AND THEY SAID i WOULD SAVE 5 DOLLARS ON A PALLET(21 BAGS) not a very good deal! But would do a price match on any competitor, I saw a meier store selling dog chow for 16.50 on 50lb bag. if I could get that price and my rebate checks I'm looking at less than 10 bucks for 50lbs!!! What a deal.

Sams Club has the purina dog chow for $16.88 a bag here, it's a 55 Ibs. one. Puppy chow is only 37.5 Ibs. and $18.68.

They will take the checks but may give you problems over it since they do not take coupons. Just make sure you point out they are CHECKS and not coupons...

We've been using ours at the 7500 pt. level for vet certificates and gift cards. Saving up now though to make the platinum membership... that's 30,000 pts. if I'm not mistaken? Over 1/2 way there! And that's just since late November, dang dogs eat to much. LOL.

11,078 points in three months here.My dogs looked and hunted like crap on the Dog Chow but we switched to O.N.E. and man it was the best move I've ever made.We penciled it out and with our rebate checks it actually costs about the same to feed O.N.E. because you feed less and get 3 more points per pound. The performance of the dogs after switching is amazing. The puppy starter kits are awesome and puppy buyers are constently commenting how professional it makes us appear when we present them with them and our business card tucked into the first flap.

Seeing all the prices paid for Pro Plan, I was curious what kind of prices you pay for the 37.5lb Pro Plan Puppy. I`m curious because I think we pay about double what you pay. Up here in Canada that food runs us around $54 a bag. Let me know as I`m curious.
