Was digging through a couple stacks of pictures today trying to find pics of my grandfather, and found this old picture. Lol

This is candy and Jewell. Two littermate sisters out of spike and Lou.
My uncle raised and trained candy, and I did the same with Jewell. I believe this is when they were just under a year old.
Candy was a heck of a chop mouth tree dog in the day, and Jewell was a heck of a bawl mouth track driver.

Both trained by my dad's old Black and Tan female "Goldie" out of caudills black land bear. She was a great hound. We pleasure hunted them three for YEARS. Never had so much fun in my life as a teenager treeing all them coon year round

It's been a tough decision, but I'm quite sure on which ones id like to continue to hang on to. I have a male and a female that I'm willing to part with. They have been dewormed, 5-way shots done. They have been worked with frequently outside of the pen on exploring, and learning how to use their nose on a hide. I would like to see them in the hands of a competition hunter or somebody that will do them justice

Hi Nick. I do comp hunts, pleasure hunting and I also do bench shows and field trials. So the pup will definitely get a chance to prove herself. I would like to buy a female. Worked the 4 pups I have with a coon hide this morning. They love tearing into that thing.


These pups will be 13 weeks this Friday (2/13/15)
I've made up my mind and I'm ready to let go of a male and female.they all seem to be as dark ticked as the chief and Jewell now.

She's growing and I really like her looks. She seems to be very intelligent. She is starting to show some natural abilities. I live in the woods so if she is outside, she's in it. She prefers to be outside. She is really interested in the cats. Barks at em And chases them. She is beginning to track stuff around the farm.

Chris - You have done a great job raising that little female. Anybody would be proud to raise a pup as nice as her. Keep them feeders full and keep taking her out. Glad to hear she was starting her own tracks last night.

Craig- Jed is doing an amazing job also. He's going to be the talk of Michigan once people catch wind of how good he's been doing. Keep up the good work!

Joe- No need to thank me, it was only the right thing to do. I'm glad your liking both of the males. Hopefully not too much longer those rickets will be gone on the first one. Keep their bedding dry, lots of exercise, and keep giving the calcium pills and liver oil. He'll come out of it soon enough.

Female #2 will be heading to West Virginia on Sunday. She's heading to a hard hunting pleasure hunter. I know she will be given a fair chance at her new home. One of his employees is a competition hunter that has won a few state hunts, he's gunna be the handler if she ever lives up to be something good.

and Male#4, and Female #1 will be staying here in NY with me. I take them for a walk everyday to check my feeders and they love to run. Seem like some gamey pups with a lot of sense. Wont be too long we'll all have a action packed wild n blue hound

Keep posting and texting me good reports of your pups gents. Im making a scrap book of this litter. Would love to fill it with some action photos.

I have a pick of the litter Male pup out of this cross. Do to problems with my hip replacement, I have decided to sell him. All up to date on shots. Two 5 ways and a 7 way. Nice mouth.
