Looks like we are going to find out.

I don't get the anti mask resistance and it some how is linked to being patriotic. Just for fun google American Spanish flu images. You will see how our grand parents and great grandparents reacted to it. Policemen, firemen and the average citizen wore masks.

Some fear death more than living free.

When a vaccine becomes available, I will be in line to get it. I'm not in a so-called high risk group, but I have family members that are. And, I don't want to play the odds on myself either.

Re: Fearing death more than living free. We can live free while still taking precautions (mask, social distancing),and it doesn't hurt, but, we can't recover from death.

If you are claiming that everything about this virus is a hoax, you are in essence saying that the scientific and medical/healthcare experts (throughout the entire world) are perpetuating a hoax on the entire world. I disagree!

Yes and an estimated 50 million deaths WW with around 675,000 of those in the US. Mask worn outside a sterile environment by untrained people is doing nothing other than giving you a false sense of security and very possibly weaking your immune system. Mask are being reworn over and over without any sterilization, people are constantly touching their faces and moving them around, the humidity buildup when they aren't changed out properly causes fungal and bacterial growth making you much more susceptible to infection.
My mother-in-law lives in a nursing home after a stroke that left her paralyzed completely on her left side. We kept her home for 17 years but with age she had become a 2 assist and it became impossible for us to give her the care she required. We have not seen her but through her window since March. She has missed the birth of a great grandchild and never held him in her arms, funerals of loved ones and will this weekend miss a sons wedding. She hasn't held her husbands hand. She hasn't hugged her sons and grandchildren or visited face to face. Her words are she would just assume die rather than live in this prison This is the thought process of most older people. If I could give her the care she needs or afford it she would be home tomorrow.
Only one thing in life is for certain is that we will all someday die. I for one am not going to live my life afraid of what might be. This virus may get me but so can countless other things.
My son Dalton, whom many of you know, and his wife were diagnosed after a coworker of his wife was tested positive within the school she works at. Dalton had one night he didn't feel well and spent his entire isolation time fishing with his boys and noodling catfish. His wife ran a fever for 3 days and felt like she had a bad sinus infection. Their youngest who's 4 ran a fever for less than 24 hours. The oldest we've decided is to mean to get sick lol. None have had any signs or symptoms since then. The boys were not tested as all it is good for is for the purpose of being a statistic, no meds are issued and follow up negative tests were never done or requested. This tells me their numbers are most likely not counted as recovered.

Friend of mine works at local Prison in Coldwater,Mi.Been there 25 yrs.
He told me{no hear say}Many that tested Pos in the prison NEVER got sick or felt sick.
Prison officials think either the test is giving many false pos. or 'someone' is giving fake numbers to media.

16 died all were over the age of 60 and had serious health issues.

This China 'virus' is not going anywhere.Gonna be like the Flu,w/vaccine or not we are stuck with it.Living my life same as I did.

Tired of being a sheep and told to wear a mask, tinfoil hat and blame Trump!! China and WHO had the chance to keep it Wuhan and didn't.

1918 Spanish Flu

About 40 years ago and before the internet I read an interesting article...

They called it the Spanish flu but the real origin was China...during WW1 there was a shortage of labor in France and Spain so to replace the labor force which were now fighting a war....they brought in Chinese men to keep these countries operating...the Chinese were having a Flu pandemic in their country at that time so the belief is that it started during those times of transporting workers...

This is how the article described how this flu came to be...
The farm pigs in China used to get a pig flu periodically but was not contagious to humans...the ducks or geese had a bird flu they would catch periodically as well and was not contagious to humans either...

Over the years when the pigs were fed the ducks would get in the pig pens and eat alongside the pigs...and during those times both these flu’s came in contact with each other and eventually they mutated and a new bug was created that now could infect humans...and humans had no immunity to this new strain of the flu...and many people died because of the lack of immunity...

I searched the internet looking for a similar story but couldn’t find one...

It seems the coronavirus is very contagious...is it because our immune systems do not recognize the corona?

It seems to me the flu virus is not as contagious...
Is it because we have had the flu with us for many years?

The reason why we need a yearly flu vaccine is because the virus is constantly changing and last years vaccine does not recognize this years flu virus...the out part of the virus is always changing...the nucleus does not...
