Heck I can't do it. I watch it all on the big screen in my buggy, but I heard it can be done.

The young guys I hunt with can just about tell you when there dog has stopped to take a dump. They know every move they make. I’m not trying to brag to much on our little trio but one of us won the Autumn Oaks another Won the UKC world and that third one well he was along for Moral support lol. I guess he won a pile of Cast across the pond this year as well. I’m the oldest at 26 the other 2 are barely drinking cold beer 🤣

Based on my youth from many years ago I have often thought then and now...don’t bet against the youngsters because they just might surprise you on what they know and can do with their dogs...

And here is the other thing back in those days...when it came to hunting dog stories and information we would buy the hunting dog magazines...maybe even subscribe to the dog world magazine...at the magazine rack we would open the fur, fish and game magazine, the field and stream and outdoor life magazines to see if they had a decent hunting dog article for that month and buy them if they did...or just subscribe to them monthly...when your a true dog man thats what you did...

Nowadays there is no excuse for the youngsters...besides their own experiences there are dog men on these forums that tell exactly what a sure enough coon dog is or even a hunting dog...many many years of experience and knowledge at their fingertips...

Do you boys make the old man drive home...since he's well rested lol. Your mother said something about wrestling matches on the front lawn. I can't imagine why lol

For the record that's his dad's side of the family lol!
And Donnie Cheyenne driving on a hunting trip is a last resort! The man needs some glasses bad. I think he only drove on one trip last year and probably only because I didn't go, Dalton must have been really tired!

I know a boy whose dog went all of the way through a woods. His Garmin showed that she was getting close to a road on the other side so he drove around. He was driving down the road watching his Garmin and ran over his dog and killed her. That is one instance when his Garmin not only didn't save his dog but it got her killed.

Mr. Lambert

Sounds like that boy needs to learn how to read a Garmin better, I have drove around many times to head a dog off and always knew how close my dog was to the road, absolutely no excuse for running over your own dog with a Garmin that was working properly. Sorry for his loss, just should not have happened. Dave
