Well I know wild n crazy. Its my style hunting, but I don't like a dog with poor kennel manners. Well that young 13 month old pup a talked about on here being super trashy wasn't so super trashy at the chkc world hunt. He hunted Friday late round for a spot in the finals against Atwells red dog that won it. Both a coon on the card, both got treed again in the last few minutes of the hunt. Red dog had a coon and Little Dale had a den. But to say I'm proud to have been a part of him is an understatement. And they got offered some huge $ for him last weekend. He'll be at the superstars as a 1 year old. And I've already been asked to finish him out after the SS. He's the type that will go 5 yards or 5 miles. But he has a bunch of talent. I think we made the correct decision with letting him run junk for a long time. All's we've been doing is hunting. Not killing ourselves or him by trying to break him. He always gives you a chance to win.
And we traded the red dog we had for a male walker that you'll see him around. He's a big hunting 25/100 type. He doesn't say much on the ground but he's got a huge mouth that you can hear for a long ways. Normally has a coon which helps.
Both of these dogs are what I'd call wild n crazy hunting type. Both have kennel manners though. Neither barks a bunch in the kennel or chews the chain link. And they don't smear the poo all over.
