Actually Shot has been in Indiana and only went to Ohio a couple days before the truck hunt. I hunted with a lot during hunting season. I never seen him tree an empty or a den tree. Getting ready to cross a female to him.

I've never hunted with him but my buddy judged him 2 rounds at truck hunt. He's a nice outfit. He's what most people say they don't want but what everyone wishes they had.

N Williams

Why would anyone that likes to coonhunt not want a dog like shot? Competition or pleasure hunting, he's the real deal. Dave

Shot will usually be deep and alone. The way he operated in those play by plays he is my style of dog. I've noticed a lot of people don't like that. But if they got one like him you couldn't by them from them.lol. People don't like it because they ain't got it.

Never hunted with Shot personally. But, if he is deep and alone or close, for what he has won,,, he has to tree coons! He seems to be good at that!

I thought he looked good. I thought all of them looked pretty decent. Mine made a tree I felt like had a coon in it but couldn't get it to come out to play. Shot is a straight line 3-4 barks on the ground and done with a coon hanging on for dear life type. I like that kind. It was a hell of a cast and I had a good time hunting with everyone

If you ever pleasure hunted with Shot you’d realize if you don’t hunt off a AtV of some sort you would never cut him loose. Plus we never cut him before 11pm. That’s the Gods honest truth.

Shot is my kind of dog, I love hunting with one like him. Don't know about atv hunting in these mountains! I would just lead him out while I got tired.lol. Dave
