And squeak had another good hunt last night 3 trees 8 coon seen.

Terry has taken her out 8 times and she has treed coon every trip but is having trouble with her mouth breaking especially her trail mouth. We are going to stand her up for a while and try some meds.

Sounds like squeak is a coon catcher. Some crosses just seem to produce hounds that tree coon without lots of training. I sure hope they make exceptional coon dogs.

Tim Stone was up to hunt. I took Irene & Sadie. Had some good corn field running & treed 3. Tim left at mid night. I loaded Dot and headed back out. They struck with in 50 yds . All three were opening. Dot had a ? show up not 50 yds from where they struck. She wasn't opening either. There was a small creek ten feet wide possibly knee deep. I walked to the ? Within a couple minutes. She was dead floating in the water. I was never over a 100 yds from her and heard nothing. Irene & Sadie ran the coon .62 and treed it. Must of been a brain amorism or heart attack. I don't believe in bad luck but I sure wish I hadn't went back out for round 2.
