.

I have friends the distribute caliber and value pac. They say it is the same as black gold but I wonder sometimes about the sale hype. I have several friends that feed both also and like it. I just haven't went there yet. I am only feeding one 9 month old dog here now and it isn't too costly for science diet and I get it delivered from chewy. We a couple discounts the first couple months isn't too bad a price for door delivery/

Just switched to native level 3. Very little waste n dogs look great. Good feed n I believe all ingredients r from USA. It's made by Kent and it's cheaper than pro plan.

4 health at tractor supply its a 4 star dog feed and is $32 -36 a bag depending on witch formula you prefer the #32 is rated better than the 36$ one tho.
And by the way on dog food advisor site the posters love to argue I hope they don't start coming on here

If you are absolutely serious about getting your dog as healthy as possible then stop feeding it commercial dog food.

Purina 30-20, had to much loose stool when feeding dog chow. I've also used Victor in the purple bag and hi energy, not a bad feed but I agree I don't understand the hype that seemed to come out of nowhere.

I'm feeding Loyall 26 16 Chicken and Rice which is made by Nutreena. I'm feeding several dogs and they are all doing very well on it and it has cut the clean up down considerably. $23.50 for a 40 pound bag and I get the 11th bag free with a Loyall frequent purchaser coupon. Figures up to $27 for 50 pounds with the free bag.

My dogs and I still like the Black Gold 26-18 Performance Blend. No waste, slick hair coats and dogs don't get overweight.
Adios,
Gary

Valu Pak 28/16

It's corn free, and about to be Soy, Wheat and Gluten free as well. I switched to it because without the corn my dogs aren't getting nearly as hot at the tree, they have more stamina, there is a lot less waste to clean up in the kennels. On top of all the benefits I sell it at my feed store so I don't have to make a special trip to town when I run out at home. For the record, I started selling Valu Pak after feeding it for a month and seeing what id did for my dogs.

Dog Feed

I have fed Purina and always will. My dogs have won numerous titles and have been fed Purina. The weight circles help with the $7 off checks. Just my opinion. It boils down to how many you feed and what you can afford to feed them. Never skimp on dog food. I got one back not long ago that definitely was not fed quality feed and it was a rack of bones. A couple weeks of Pro plan and it came right around. Good luck.

I must have the least sensitive dogs on the planet. I have never fed total garbage, but never high end either. Dogs that i have seem to look fine, act fine, poop is fine on about any mid grade 24-27 bucks for 50 lb food.

If your really pounding them ive had my best luck with diamond EA....but im not feeding that to those that arent earning it

Redbonehunter69 alpo dog chow is junk that and gravy train are probably the two worst dog foods in the world...I'm no expert at all (hence why I started the thread) but I do know if you go with cheap food your gonna get cheap results...I would look into something like pro plan or science diet or value pac like all the men are saying...I personally am gonna give the pro plan a shot to see how things go.
