my folks don't have any coondogs i got into this sport because one of my buddys took me out with his english and let me hunt with it to see if i liked it and it was a lot of fun so i wanted to get a coondog of my own i at first wanted an english or bluetick but to get one it would be 2000 dollars to buy it and have it shipped cause there isn't any breeders in pa and being my age i dont have that kind of money but then he was saying he had a red dog years ago and said it was great and all so i looked into them and theres a breeder in western pa that had pups for sale for 300 dollars so i got one and i loved the breed the ones i had were always good and haven't let me down yet

Well im glad you found a breed that suits you!! I think that if you like what you hunt then by all means keep on truckin! Like I said before if the dog is as you described you have a found a needle in a haystack, and will probably make you rich because there aren't many of that color like that.
