Rifle

X2 on T/C Hotshot, light as a feather and super accurate. Breakdown feature means easy loading at night. I carry mine in a Cricket case with sling hardly know you are carrying it even with a scope. Dave

Ruger

Ruger 10/22 with a sliding stock and the stock holds 2 extra clips. Everybody that sees it wants one!

No Tim I don't know where a guy could buy one but then again I'm no gun guru either.

A buddy of mine turned me on to this little gun and it is exceptionally well made, Light, safe to operate, and very accurate. I will check with my buddy to see where he recommends a guy look for one though.

Ruger SR 22 with the original adjustable iron sights. I wear it in a side holster and don't know it is there. Great trigger, shoots great with a 3.5" barrel. I carried a Browning Buckmark Slabside for ever but the improved weight and size caused me to change.
Adios,
Gary

Cricket makes a pistol stock for their rifles if you are wanting the overall length even shorter than the rifle stock they come with. i think they are about 45-$50.

I've been using a Marlin Model 70 "Papoose" for 20 years. It only weighs 3 1/2 LBS and was as accurate as any 22 I ever shot until I let the barrel get rusty. I'm looking for another barrel for it now.

They are not bad...I got one for my son. He's 10 and he shoots it pretty good. As small and light as any of the other youth 22's, but I would say a lot better quality.

If you can hit a coon with an sr22 your better than I am. I feel confident I could hit. A bear at 15 feet. Not a cub but a full grown bear with mine. Wish you were close I'd come watch.

Youth model, Mossburg bolt action. It is short, light, and it has a clip so you don't have to fumble with shells in the dark with cold hands. Mount a laser scope from Wal-Mart, and its just point and shoot.
