Hunts like this is a lot more than just the money. Just being there and feeling you have a dog capable to compete is what many live for. There will be 1 winner and over 600 that could of won. It will take some breaks along the way and it will take a hound that has been put in the woods and prepared to win. History will be written and one person will have accomplished what many prepare for every night.
In a couple weeks instead of congratulating the winner. We will be talking about the possum or slick tree or dog fight that steals the show from the hard work put in by many.
Coonhunting for those involved is a wonderful sport. For those on the sidelines, just stirring the pot, its something ugly.

It might seem that some are stirring the pot but for some that don't sell supply's and worry about economic sanctions for what they say we ( I) don't just go to donate ( I did that a lot when I was younger ) we wait till we got a winner before we go nothing ugly about that it's useing your noggin I congradualate the winner now it's a high honor to win that hunt if you ever see me there I won't be there to play anybody that knows me will tell you that I don't make a bad habit of loosing and it's because I put in the time at home and I have a dog prepared to win. I don't have any vidios or books to quote I just got in from real coonhunting by myself just and old cripple and his dog.

I got somthing working to mike a big bowl of ramen noodles with weenies cut up in in it with 5 or 6 kajugs of Louisiana hot sauce took the new dog by herself tonight 2 slicks 1 den 1 coon at least her average is getting better lol tracking is horrible.

Except for granny all my dogs have been grand show champions and she could have been I did not have anything to do with Grntch her her 2 littermates and their daddy and grandmother were I love to show a good looking dog and I know your dogs are more than just show dogs I am up at three or four in the morning when I see you check the board I know you been hunting hobo lol.
