I just caught up with that thread late last night myself. I like a good math nerd. As redbones we're almost guaranteed to draw 3 other dogs that aren't redbones. So when a red advances he/she has overcome some serious odds. Sure, sure I know that has nothing to do with dog power, but when people wanna talk breed only, it has a ton to do with it. In such a hunt a 4 redbone cast never exists so that its a guarantee a redbone will win...NEVER.

So redbone hunters and breeders should be pleased with the figure, take a tight hold of what's working and eliminate what's not. How many redbones get there means little if they aren't better than most. Stick with quality, ignore quantity.

Congrats to all involved and good luck to those still hanging on for this weekend.

Those odds would say we got about a 50 % chance to see two red dogs in the final four.
