For the record I don't really trust anyone. Especially politicians that speak out both sides.

I will ask again why should we vote for Cruz? What is one accomplished for his time in Washington? Not stand on the floor and bloke something, tell us how he will abolish the irs Really? Tell us how he will abolish obama care it is the law of the land approved by Roberts that he supported 100%.

I don't believe the spoiler theory, it would take a tremendous amount of coordination for that to happen with the risk of Hillary losing those primaries, I also believe democrats do not want to vote for Hillary, just look at the Sanders candidacy for proof, I would prefer Cruz be the president, just don't think he can win, I don't feel he can pull enough votes from Hillary, contrary to what the Hillary camp says they do not want to run against Trump. We may have to take baby steps, but that's better than the way we have been and will be stepping, if Hillary gets in. Trump will surround hisself with the best and brightest, if given a chance.

I apologize! I'm glad you've seen the light as far as Trump! He's got a sniff in Ohio which is huge! In fact I may vote for him. Not because he's may favorite he's not, but he might have the best chance at winning Ohio. Thus blocking Trump from a winner take all state.

I'm curious to know what you really think of Kasich. You live in Ohio and I would really like to know. From everything I have read he is able to get things done by bringing people together and I feel thats what we need. The only thing I have heard negative is about the education department in Ohio.
Also, there is no light to see. Other than liking Kasich and not liking Cruz I am totally open minded in this election or feel hopeless.

Lol!! Now I've found 2 things that I believe Trump would excel at! The other day through others post I discovered that Trump had a lot in common with a drunk exterminator and now Today I realized he also has a lot of the same qualities as my Drunk Uncle! They both speak their mind! They both are tough guys! They both are fighters! All while being completely clueless on most issues that really matter!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot my Drunk uncle does masonry work! The Great Wall of Trump would be no problem!

Tom Purdy had already replied to the rest of it in convincing fashion, so I figured I'd address the part he didn't. I didn't realize there were such strict rules of decorum when posting here. Sorry to offend you it wasn't intentional.

Again it's facts. Trump has lost 5 out of the 7 states that were closed primaries. Cruz has won all 5 of those even though Rubio is still in. Not sure how that's talking points when in nearly 24 hrs I've finally heard ONE newscaster specifically point that out.

I don't believe I ever heard him say he would abolish those on the first day. He said he would rescind every single executive action Obama has instated, on his first day. Those are not empty promises that can't be fulfilled. The next president can do that with a stroke of a pen the same way Obama instituted them because it didn't go through Congress and isn't law.

As to the IRS and Obamacare. IRS is simple. Cruz has a 10% flat tax with very few deductions. You can fill out your taxes on a postcard. It's layed out on his website. No need for the IRS at that point. Plenty of government agencies that could receive those funds and deposit them. No need to figure out complicated deductions and loopholes.

Obamacare he will use the Presidency to push and convince Congress to get something on his desk to sign that will reverse it. He would have the public behind him on that.

Do you really think you will see him do all of this even in his first four years if he wins,I would doubt he does one in four years you have to remember who mouth the promise is coming from,a politician.

Why the heck not? Obama in his narcissistic egotistical get something done at all costs enacted countless Executive Actions without going through Congress. Every single one of them can be eliminated with a stroke of a pen the same way Obama instituted them. And Ted Cruz will, why wouldn't he, there's nothing to stop him from doing so? They are not law, just an executive order.

His tax plan is just simple enough to make sense to a simple minded individual like myself. The current tax code is 74,608 pages long!! Just another example of a ridiculous bloated inefficient and oppressive government agency.

Here's his tax plan. Makes sense to me.

Well here are the reasons you should support Trump. Trump is very proud of the Trump legacy and all he has owned, built and has his name stamped on it.
He started his campaign about illegal immigrants, building a wall and have Mexico pay for it. 2nd Going to bring back good paying jobs to the U.S. and have a booming industry by making great deals for the United States Citizens and stopping the huge trade deficits to other countries. 3rd Trump said we will take care of our Vet's. and have such a strong Military that it would be suicidal for anyone to mess with the United States. These are his 3 main campaign promises..
Others that he said he would do is repeal A.C.A. and replace it as it is horrible and is bad for businesses and the citizens of the U.S. Also he believes if you have a conceal carry permit then you should be able to carry in all 50 states as this is a person's fundamental right, said if a drivers licenses is good for all 50 States then a conceal carry permit should also be. As a drivers license is a privilege and carry a firearm is a Right.
Hear is something else you might want to also think about. He has 3 adult children, 1 child in college, and 1 still at home. The 3 adults are all working in business the 1 in college has her goals set for her when college is over. Now with all this wealth none of these kids just got money handed to them when they wanted it they had to work for it the same way Amish kids do . he believed in a hand up not a hand out!!!! Trump taught his kids valuable life lessons as they were growing up and didn't need to bail them out later for narcotics and drunkenness.
I will say if Cruz win's the republican nomination I would vote for him.
As far as Cruz goes his kids are to young to determine just what he is teaching them and the foot print he tries to have them follow....

As a business man Trump believes he has a legacy and is proud of it. If he can't get anything done on those 1st 3 things that he started his campaign out on. The world would look at it as failure and the Trump legacy would have a bad rap from his failure of not keeping his campaign promises if he becomes President.
As far as the others running if they don't fulfill there campaign promises no big deal they would just blame someone else as they are just politicians and that is the way politics roll.

I'm wondering which of these is Cruz being a politician?

Was it when he successfully argued and won a landmark 2nd amendment case in DC v Heller? DC's handgun ban was struck down as infringing on the second amendment right to keep and bear arms. LANDMARK CASE

Was it when he successfully argued the Elk Grove Unified School District v. Newdow case in the Supreme Court and maintained the words "UNDER GOD" in the pledge of allegiance in public schools? LANDMARK CASE.

Was it when he successfully defended Texas in Medellín v. Texas before the Supreme Court when he had to go against his old boss George W Bush to do so??

If your not familiar with that case it involved Medellin an 18-year-old Mexican citizen) and several other gang members participated in the murder of Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Peña, when they raped a 14-year-old and 16-year-old girl for an hour in Houston, Texas as part of a gang initiation. Both girls were killed to prevent them from identifying their assailants. Medellín strangled one of the girls with her own shoelaces then crushing her neck with his foot. Other gang members strangled the other girl with a nylon belt, until the belt snapped.

Medellin and the government argued that he had not been advised of his Vienna Convention rights. Cruz successfully argued that A treaty is not binding domestic law!!!

As a result Medellín went to meet his Maker and was executed on August 5, 2008

Maybe it was when Cruz successfully defended the constitutionality of the Ten Commandments monument on the Texas State Capitol grounds before the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court?

This record of being an unfailing Constitutionalist and Conservative regardless of the consequences is such a nasty stain when running as a Republican candidate, don't ya think?

George Bush last yr said about Ted Cruz “I just don't like the guy"

I wonder why?? Maybe because he got his a$$ kicked in the courts and Cruz was right on both law and principle!

What an excellent rebuttal. He started from nothing and Cruz's record of having argued before the Supreme Court nine times is more than any practicing lawyer in Texas or any current member of Congress. He won 5 of the 9 in some very important cases. Maybe he should've just stayed at home so more states could enact a handgun ban or completely eliminate God from schools and eventually homes.

Michael Jordan won 6 NBA championships, but you shoulda seen some of the games he lost!! What a joke and putz he is! Lol

nitehunter, You misread my comment. In no way did I imply that Trump supporters are my drunk uncle! I merely pointed out that the only reasons ever given as to why they support Trump, are he speaks his mind, and he's not part of the establishment. Both of which could be said of my drunk uncle!

As for the rest of your post. I will answer again. Cruz has fought in court for your 2nd amendment rights, and won! Google Ted Cruz resume the list is too long for me to type all of the other reasons you should vote for him. I never told you he would abolish Obamacare. However we do know by observing his actions he's willing to go to the mat trying! As for the IRS, Well Started has more than laid out Cruz's tax reform plan 10% flat tax. Will it get done? Don't know! But he has a substanate based plan. As for Roberts, I agree he let us down. Cruz has said as much. Have you seen the name Trump has floated out for his Supreme Court nominee? You will plead for Roberts.

The clinic(slaughter house) my wife use to stand in front of was shut down last year, and there are only a few left in Ohio! He has been masterful at back dooring the abortion mills! I think he's soft when it comes to religious liberty, and he definitely supports common core. Which is by most accounts a socialist educational program. I guess I would describe him as a moderate. Having said that he would be worlds better than Trump or Hillary.
