Yep, principles over party! Everybody keeps saying that the establishment is against Trump. While that may be true, the establishment is a small % of the electorate that's out there. The truth is there is a WHOLE lot of conservatives against Trump. That has nothing to do with the establishment.

So, do y'all think that the conservative Republicans, "The Establishment", will not vote for Trump in the general election after he gets the nomination? Or are they just trying to bully everyone into not voting for him in the Primaries?

I do not think there are as many conservatives against Trump, as we are led to believe. I'll vote for whoever the republican nominee is, I am definitely not staying home.

I don't know either. But I do know I hear people saying they can't or wont vote for Trump. I know several married couples that 1 is either for, or okay with Trump, the other says they absolutely wont vote for him. They were always lock step behind a candidate before, this kind of thing was never an issue.

Its along time till November. People will have a lot more time to decide on trump or whoever the nominee is. We better come together tho. Romney didn't help matters either!

Wouldn't be my first pick but if for some reason he was the nominee, I'd for sure be behind him as would the rest of the Republican party, unlike Trump.

A point Sanders made in the dem debate . Another thing has anyone thought about the BO Sanders connection with ties to the Socialist Party and Chicago .
I believe the dems are in the same boat as the GOP . Most democrats I know are not liberal thinkers , they either vote the way they do because it's the party they grew up with daddy and granddaddy voting for or the are union members who have be convinced they have to vote dem to protect their jobs . I have read in post that republicans want someone willing to compromise I think that it is the exact opposite , we are sick of compromising ! We want someone willing to stand up and be heard , we are sick of a liberal agenda dictating and destroying America . Long story short the dems play upon old fashioned rich against poor and the union vote , republican establishment plays against our core values and beliefs all so both can stay in Washington to line thier pockets . Neither gives a rats a$$ about the general population . The American people have woken up to this over the last 8 yrs which is why we have the rise of Trump , Cruz and even the Socislist Bernie . Notice the party insiders don't support any of the 3 , they would just assume they run under what they are an independent , tea party and a socialist it would have saved the establishment on both sides a lot of headache and money . The 3 made the smart decision to run under the old party names which makes their chance at being elected or atleast pulling the nomination much higher .

just saw a news piece...

at an alien convention out west....folks that had been probed, beamed up to the moon, had a giant alien take tissue samples from their private parts, and had multiple visitations from aliens....and when asked who they were voting for for president.....100 % of them were absolutely in the tank for Trump and sang his praises.....
If you are on that side of the ledger....God help you!!!!

I saw them opening a building where he {Trump} was holding a press conference a couple days ago and as they let them in, it looked like the gates opening at an old WWF event.
The Mentally unstable, white trash, toothless crackhead looking folks were running to find a place to stand with their Trump signs.

Im not making this up. I saw this on Fox News and CNN.

Trump is a patholigical liar, Serial Adulterer, who never cracked a bible open in his life. He claims he has never had to ask for forgiveness from God or anybody. From the Bible I read...that man will bust Hell wide open and will not enter into the kingdom of God. So a vote for Trump is you telling God...I know better than you.

The blindness of people who will vote in a moral bankrupt man into the highest office in the land blows my mind.
He said it best when he said " I love the uneducated"

You better think twice who you hitch your wagon to.
We will all give an account of who we vote for one day. You better choose it wisely.

Cripple Creek. I am not doubting you but you need to remember that you saw and heard what the media whanted you to see and hear. That is an issue that really annoys me. We are spoon fed information, in an effort, to make us behave in a certain manner. I don't want to vote for Trump either but will vote for whomever the republican nominee is as both democrat prospects are totally anti everything I believe in.

You could have wrote this story 8 years ago, substituted Obama for Trump, and then gave out the same advise, yet you still voted for "change".

Major party candidates are bought and paid for and do the bidding of big money at the expense of the people. Has made very little difference as to who is actually elected since the agenda is preset by big money, it may be more left or right depending on who is elected, but within the demarcations in place. Voters most often drink the koolaid and spout a party line that is promoted by big media using the media that they own. The success to date of Sanders and Trump is a reaction to what has happened for many years. Big money corrupts. Cruz claims change, but is a hired gun for right wing pac money. Personally believe that the key to the people having a real choice is to eliminate the soft money that buys elections and those elected, actually gives free speech to the big money interests and takes it away from the rest. All elections to have public finance, open the process to many and not just a selected bought and paid for few, also would shorten election cycle to months and not years, would force those running to do so on issues and not running attack ads to detract and confuse. Wishful thinking as the powers that be will fight tooth and nail to keep this from ever happening, look at what is happening to derail Trump. The delegate system for the democrats gives Hillary and inside track to nomination, if big money feels she may not be the chosen one Sanders will be under attack to derail him as well. Last thing the big money would want is a Bernie-Donald race for the Oval Office....
