I would first like to say that me and Brett have become the best of friends over the past few years and were brought together through the Polly dog... Brett is a great guy super honest and a real Houndsman... What a lot of people don't know is Brett has been at this for over 20 years and before that was hunting bird dogs with his grandfather.... The reason most people have not heard of him in the "Redbone World" is because Brett doesn't like competition hunting...... I pushed Brett to title dogs so we could get the pups we were producing in hands of serious hunters.... Now to the point... I really appreciate all the positive support that has been sent...... However if you don't have something positive or uplifting keep it to yourself.... Do you know what a slap in the face it is for someone to tell us that the dogs suffocated in the box? Really? Or that they died of carbon monoxide..... Let me tell everyone what happened.... The dogs were poisoned.... Period.... I am not saying it was intentional other things happened that night no one knows about.... But when a guy looses his dogs and is asking himself why does anyone think the real answer is to tell him he smothered them???If you don't know us or was there don't diagnose the tragedy.... I purposely don't post on here anymore because of stupid opinions like that.... Bretts only hole with the dogs is the same as mine... We get to attached to a hound....

RIP JC's Rodeo Red Slick scored 562 1/2 points on Friday night but we were 3 minutes late turning in the score card.... He was an outstanding young dog....

RIP Rodeo Red Polly a truely dominate Red Female no matter what dogs were around her she was running the show...

RIP Rodeo Red Tripp .... After slick was titled this was the next dog I was going to hunt and I was so excited... Tripp was a no reverse, big mouth super accurate independent 14 month old hound... At 6 months old he would not come in and Brett would call me so mad because he would have to go in the woods and get him when the other dogs came in..... He was a 1 in a 1000 pup...

I am truly sorry for what happened. I have spoke with Brett several times and enjoy talking to him. After talking with him on several occasions I understand how passionate you and him are about the breed and producing great hounds. If Brett reads this, I wanted him to know I took Cat out tonight and she done a bang up job for her first time in I don't know how long. She hunted hard and is a great tree dog.
