Figured I'd make a update. I laid my female up a few weeks during our bitter cold and deep snow. Took her out last week she started barking straight out of the box went up the hill about 50 yards pulled up treed on a big sow. Tonight I turned her loose she struck a cold track and got it heated up ran about 800 yards and I was beginning to have my doubts she pulled up treed under another big sow. Laying her up really seemed to have helped her. Also I've just been taking her out on warmer nights that seem like good hunting. Thanks for the advice.
