In America we have 100,000 people that coon hunt. We have 2,900,000 that don't, so you have plenty company.

Re: TIME

Not sure where you're at location wise but Get a hold of ALLBLUE92 on here. Jake is in Indiana PA. He likes to hunt the young dogs. And he is a very nice young guy.

I kinda got the same problem just one young male though, gotta 3 month old, 8 year old, & a 13 year old, (kids that is) I work every day plus rotate shifts every friggin week it sucks but I have a lot of desire to coonhunt, my problem is the male hound I'm trying to straighten out. He shows flashes of making an above average hound, but he is wild as you could get. If it will lay a track he will run it, if it will climb he will tree it, he is also mouthy on track a lil more than I like, but on those nights he's right man he sounds great, huge locates nice tree dog.
He has made me realize I'm not experienced enough of a trainer to handle him nor do I have the time he needs. I wish I knew someone that I could send him too for a month or two that would really do him justice & get him on the right track. I'm more of a finisher rather than a trainer

I feel your pain!

46 yrs young! Two boys one 8 and one 11. One 13 month old little girl. Great wife but don't like me out late at night. Two hounds less than 3yrs old; nice dogs! Head Varsity Baseball Coach! Head JV Football Coach! 11u Travel Team Baseball Coach. When I do go I turn out 1 -2 times max and back home by 8:30 most of the time. But boy do I still love it and the fire burns when I miss a couple of nights in a row...And two words explain how I can still do it with all I have going on in my life! GARMIN ALPHA
We hunt where I turn out. We hunt when I want to hunt. We go home when I want to go not when they want to. We hunt the game I want to hunt. (Racoons) I always know where my dogs are and where they have been and I am usually where they are heading to. Is it just me or did Garmin make Coon Hunting even that much better!

Just my two cents
