Once again, pay attention for just a minute. The dog was not shocked enough to amount to anything UNTIL HE STARTED GOING TO HOUSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND THEN HE WAS ONLY LIT UP AFTER HE MADE HIMSELF AT HOME AND WOULDN'T LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now that we have that out of the way, maybe the people that read all the responses and have intelligent suggestions to make will come up with something. Right at the moment Richard Lambert has my vote for the winner on this one. I believe he has hit the nail on the head and if it works I will have to do something for him.

I had a dog years ago with the same problem , I believe the dog was looking for food , and I didn't use electricity, But after a half dozen times he found a new home , in dog heaven
