Just got the new marlin xt 22tr bolt action for $215 out the door and it it was dead on straight out of the box.

I just bought a chiapa little badger. BY FAR the best coon gun so far. They are def worth a look at. Come in 17 22 mag and 22Lr. I bought the 22 Lr for I think 130 bucks. It's a break open single shot. Wit a wire frame. Weighs bout as much as a pistol.

That little badger looks like a cool gun.Only weighs 3.5 pounds too.I think I need aliitle more firepower.Sometimes I like to rapid fire a jumbo coon or coyote that I might run across.Thanks guys

Matt get you a good 870 or 1100 turkey choke with 3 inch #4 shot will be all the fire power you will need for any varmint. Lol

Pistol is the way to go

My favorite rifle I've used for coon hunting was a Henry lever action I won in a raffle. I had $20 in it. Sold it about 4 years later for $75.

I would love to use my 1100 on a coon!LOL.Might be a little heavy to pack around all night tho.

Recently bought a Henry youth lever action.Shoots all shells,cb to long rifle.Light and short but is a tad expensive.Apx $350.
