Sent Mac to Adam Wingler in Granite Falls North Carolina to get a little experience in thinner coons and rougher high elevation mountain hunting.
I don't think its bothering Mac....but Adam says he is getting a workout

You bet fellas. I'm on the easy end of this deal, Mac is one fine hound. And I have never minded a good uphill walk...as long as that ball of fur is waiting way up above when I arrive, and ol Mac has yet to disappoint.

As soon as my videography skills improve (likely never), I'll share some video of his work in the hills. I also would have swore Mac came with one of them fancy infrared cameras, but I really haven't needed one yet!

We've been hammered with rain for well over a week now, so the creeks are all class 4 and the lakes well above pond. So, tonight we got to play in swamp like conditions.

Mac made two dens wth two on the outside in the last tree...the first just found a better hiding spot. This is a huge tract of planted pines, something Shane says don't grown up north...He looked good though, real good.
