Most of us have never seen a time when we couldn't go to the store and get whatever we wanted and could afford. Here on the coast, any time a hurricane comes near, the store shelves are empty and there are lines at the pumps. But if something that lasted longer than a few days, people will run out of groceries and gasoline. I've never seen a time like that. I wonder what my neighbors would do when their groceries and gas run out. I think they, as I, would get desperate and panicky. Who knows what they would do? First they would look around the neighborhood for food to buy or borrow and seek information on the tv.
