you talking about reba, think that was her name.

He did, Cody and Jr. was his two most famous I guess you could say. Cody was given to James Parnell and he kept it for years after Dabry died.

Dabry and James were very good friends, Dabry's death was rough on James they hunted, fished and traveled many a mile together. I don't know if you know Johnny Turner from Ky or not. He and Dabry were good friends as well.

I do not know Mr.Turner but I talk to James at least once a week. I just crossed a line bred Mann's female with a line bred JR male and thus far it appears I struck gold.

I have no dog in the fight on how curs, feist, or even hounds are bred. It seems like each time I open a thread there is a debate over what is in curs and feist. Do they have hound, bird dog, shepherd, elkhound, etc. I remember as a young boy when I hunted hounds the same debate was always an issue... who was the daddy or if the daddy was a walker. Now many DNA test dogs in the pet world just to find out what their (my least favorite word they use for pound hounds the mix) so they can say they own a mix instead of saying they own a mutt. Question why not DNA test to see what is in the dogs or DNA current producing dogs so the questions would die? Unless we just like to debate. Just wondering?

Because most people dont want to see or anyone else to see whats in their dogs as far as the DNA.
And then they are some people that just like to stir things up about lines and breeds of dogs but when they have a playing field like Feist and Cur they have ground to stand on because most of them have anything from a Crow to a House Cat hid back in there some where.
