Kids fishing rodeo was BIG !!! Tons of kids.. Rain Friday night was a downer, hope it holds off tonight. Show seminar was good as well, Phillip Newland did a nice job. Sorry I'm not much of a reporter...

This

event was well attended, reminded me of the turn outs you would see in the 70's. Had a nice time at lunch with Ed Mead. Most down to earth guy for being so successful. I have always enjoyed this event. Doc Householder would have been beaming with pride over this one.

Hats off to the Sugarcreek Valley Coonhunters and Beaglers Club and all the folks from the Stark County Sportsmans Assoc., Team Berkley, The game warden, et al.You guys did a great job. As my good friend would say !!!

TREE OLE HUSSLER !!!!!!!

Event

As Wayne said there was a great turn out and everyone had a great time. The Dinner Thursday night was great. A lot of Doc's friends showed up and we all had a good time at the dinner. Sat. The kids had a great time fishing. There must have been 50 to 60 kids. The pond was full. All the kids caught fish. After the fishing was over there were hot dogs and chips for the kids. All the kids got new fishing poles and reels. Bob had 60 Reels and poles for the kids. Doc would have loved this hunt. As far as winners I know Chuck Crane's son won first registered with his Tucker dog Friday night and Greg Holbrook won third with a son out of Tucker. Bob Tully and his Friends knocked this hunt out of the park would be my thought. I had a great time. Bob sure done a lot of work to make this such a nice event and if you see him around shake his hand and thank him for a job well done. Thanks also to the Sugarcreek Valley Coonhunters Club. They are a nice bunch of Gals and Guys that know how to treat people. Thank You all very much. Doc looking down was proud of all of us and the event I am sure. Dave Woofter

Hank

Bill,if you continue to do the boot work with him, you'll have something very special considering he's just a little over 2 now. I hope you and Jenson decide to give him a chance at the world hunt. RQE's coming up and not to far away! Hank also won the senior div of young guns at BBOA days on Thurs. nite. Nice young hound!! Good luck with him in the future,Danny G.

householder memorial

I did attend the Householder hunt and met a lot of old friends. Matt Turner and my grandson were in attendance , The Ron Small family were there along with Alex Wards wife and family who I had the pleasure of meeting.
Thanks to Bob Tully and family and all the local coon hunters there was plenty of entertainment , live band , hog roast , water races kept the kids happy.
It is good to remember those before us who carried the blue tick banner and provided us with the foundation of many of todays fine hounds.
