Key

Done something like that a few years ago to my sons car, had a key made off of a key with chip. Did not know the key had a chip. Went to pick his car up it turn over twice, then wouldn't hit a lick. Haul to dealer and car needed key with chip to start. Cost me a little money to find that out.

his truck don't have a chip key but his car key does guess that aftermarket theft system works but the boy unhooked it we gonna leave it unhooked lol i got the keys for my truck that i need to go to ford and get programed right now they will only unlock the door

here shiud be your fix

does your dad have remote entree system (factory key fob)? shoud have an alarm buton on it ..


if he has a clicker do this hook every thing back up hit the alarm buton on the keyless entrre system till it alarm comes on and then hit it again to turn it off then put key in and see if truck starts .... this shoud fix your problem as i know some mushroom pickers that somone messesd whith there truck when they were out hunting mushrooms and theres woudent start this is how i fixed theres no problem ...

he don't have a key less entry boy just unhooked the after market theft box and it's works fine he's ben driveing it sense
