Ed you don't have a clue how my pension workes at all. If I die all of it goes to my wife and kids until they turn 18 you do the math buddy.if I pay in a little over 350,000 dollars into my pension And I retire at age 55 I will draw around $3500 a month. Heck if me and my live for 20 years that's $840,000 And your right if me and her die and the kids are 18 all that money does go back that's how they can pay me that good retirement. With all of my other benefits and great hourly wage why should I be bitchin. Nope its the people who are jealous doing the bitchin and this crap the Seeker just posted is funny. I wanna see the jobs that this so called RTW laws are creating. I wanna see the all of those good jobs, benefit packages and so forth. Hey I'll admit they are no need for Unions in some of the small public sector businesses. Hell if everybody would treat you good they would be no use for Unions but that is not the case. The only thing RTW does is give them the right to pay you less, the right to run your butt off if nephew Rick needs a job or replace you with Carlos and his 5 Mexican brothers. You all need to wake up and realize that they are a scam going on and it's being played on you but keep drinking the Kool-aid my friend's

Seeker, thanks for helping me make my point about corporate welfare.

$150,000 per job to Baxter International
$150,000 per job to KIA
$55,000 per job to Caterpillar
$24,540 per job to Mercedes-Benz

The Kia, Baxter and Caterpillar projects will create a combined total of just under 6,000 jobs. The total amount of government incentives that have been paid or will be paid to these corporations could exceed $750 million.

That is three-quarters of a billion dollars for 6,000 jobs.

The latest labor department figures show that there are 239,200 people in Georgia classified as long-term unemployed (2012) – those who have been unable to find a job for more than 27 weeks. The long-term unemployed make up 56 percent of all jobless workers in the state.

Do the arithmetic and you will see that 6,000 jobs barely makes a dent in the 239,200 long-term unemployed – but government officials have agreed to pay three-quarters of a billion dollars to bring those 6,000 new jobs to Georgia.

Is this a good deal for the tax payers?
Is this the reason the RTW states are growing faster the close shop states?
It cost less to live in a close shop state?

Those are some shocking numbers. This is all part of the great American Scam and I don't mean dream either. RTW is no good for America and either is the Republican party for the working man. We need to stand up to both party's and tell them No more but Keep drinking the Kool-Aid my friends and lets keep living the American Dream.

Yes Stan, there's a fine line between the So called American dream and the American nightmare. When the GOP and their supporters get their way and unions, social safety nets and the middle class is gone, many (on here)thinking they'll be part of the ruling class will be surprised. Just look to our past, I know, I don't want to return to the GOOD OLE DAYS. Like my grandmother would say " there wasn't anything good about the good ole days".

VOTE YOUR POCKETBOOK !!!!!!!! I DO!!!!!!!!

Eddie, Eddie, the typical GOP voter, when talking points fail and the truth hurts, start name calling. HAHA

I understand and deal with it all the time, living in Georgia sometimes is like living on another planet.

Eddie, come up with something a little better, you can do it. HOMMIE hahahahaha

Later comrade !

JT, would you give up your guns for unions? Keep voting democrat. The union screwed up when they started backing one party, and they picked the wrong one. Blame union leadership not me.
