Root beer pop cycles.
When I was a kid my two favorites were root beer and banana. Today you can still buy a whole bag of banana flavor but you cannot buy rootbeer. Why is that?

My mom would buy Squirt! It came in a green/twisty looking bottle. It was the only pop, me, my brother and sister wouldn't touch! What I recall, it tasted like grapefruit juice!

Crush, RC, and squirt are still around. They had a fund raiser in high school where you bought crush Pop and gave it to who ever you had a crush on. It could be Anonymous but it came with a little note card like flowers do. I don't think I got but one and I gave out a bunch lol.

Remember when the ice cream man came through town? Last time i seen an ice cream truck driving around i almost lost my job. I was on a framing crew and it was on of those hot humid July or August days and we heard that tell tell music playing and dropped our tool belts and ran after that truck like a bunch of kids! The boss was ticked!

Purple mountain dew! Or surge. Though I am a fan of the mountain dew with enough caffeine to kill a horse. Makes my day Better after chasing some sorry dogs all nite
