Carl u don't think aneisa would sale sam
I said it before the way u explained Sam I'd like to own him. I bet the way I hunt he could make a great dog. Love one with no reverse. And I know Sam ain't been hunted like I hunt. I figure 6-7 all nighters in a role Sam would love his nice warm dog box. I'd be interested in him if she wanted to part with him

Jason i will be honest with you Sam has had two coons put out too him and he is a tree hugging slobber mouth tree dog.

He just seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time all the time and want back another dog on nothing if its 50 yards away he has not been out with nothing but other dogs his age that might tree one coon out of 10 they get after so i have had no way to work with him except alone very much.

Aneisa would not sell him at any price right now and i am just about afraid to hunt him very much its dad don't get Sam killed Dad hope you don't lose Sam tonight so you can't enjoy hunting a dog like that cause you know any time you turn one lose it may get killed.
I am going to work with him until i get a pup old enough to hunt or get fed up with him and he can stay tied on the chain from now own.
We will see what the future holds should anything change i will let you know.

Why take a dog and shock it till its backwards than put it on a chain to rot just because "Aneisa" don't want to get rid of it?

YOU DON'T KNOW THE WHOLE STORY BUD I EXPLAINED ALL OF THIS THREE MONTHS AGO.

I BOUGHT THE DOG AND GAVE IT TO ANEISA AS A COMING HOME PRESENT SHE BEEN LIVING IN FLORIDA FOR 12 YEARS AND A PRETTY PIECE OF MONEY I GAVE.

WELL TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT SHE BUYS HIM THE BEST OF EVER THING EVEN BRUSHES HIS TEETH AND TAKES HIM ON WALKS AND HE GETS TREATED BETTER THAN A LOT OF PEOPLE AND WHERE HE MAKES A COON DOG OR NOT I COULD CARE LESS AS LONG AS IT MAKES HER HAPPY TO OWN A DOG.

I understand carl. I just dont think sam is the type of dog aneisa would enjoy hunting. Sam has the tools to put somebody in the winners circle but he needs to be pushed now. Hes getting ready to be 2 yrs old shortly. I figure spring is comeing and tracks will be better and thats how i would hunt him right by his self. Aneisa needs a good ole pleasure dog to hunt. One that aintngonna blow through the hills that checks back in every 20-30 mins that handles like a dream. Sam is the type of dog that will make u regret ever cutting him loose monday through thursday but friday and saturday when u get your picture taken u would love him. Thats the kind i like hunting all the time and i havent really found that yet

Sam is my dog. Trust and believe when I tell you he is not going to "rot" on the chain. I don't set my schedule to suit no one and he'll come along just fine all in good time. In the meantime he is well taken care of. Nobody else besides me and my dad needs to be worrying about what he is or isn't doing. What I do with him is my business.

I had a female off of box. She started all on her own. One night I was heading out hunting and I found a good fresh coon that had got hit on the road. I took it and laid a long drag. She rannit right and got parked. Ever since after that one drag she ran and treed her own coon. I've never had a pup start that easy. I never did anything with her. If your looking for a pup I'd just call Keith. He's a honest and great guy to deal with.

I know sam is being well taken care of. I know the type of dog san is and can be just hearing u and your dad talk about him and thought maybe i could buy him. I didnt mean no dis respect by asking. Weather u decide to hunt him or not hes yours and u have the right to do what u please with him but ive said it before and ill say it again sam has the tools to put u or who ever in the winners circle in any kc if hunted properly. I could be wrong cause ive been wrong my whole life but i dont beleive sam is the type of dog u will enjoy hunting in those mountains. Especially when he gets to treeing them coons regularly. He will gut his handler. He will be deeeeeeep and lonely somewere with a coon weather its 100 yds or 2 miles. Right now is the wrong time of year to hunt a young dog so i wouldnt even worry about it till spring. But if your wanting to make sam a coon dog come april and may somebodys gonna have to put alot of boot leather into him. Again im sorry if i made u upset i didnt mean no dis respect.

No worries old hoss, you have done nothing but give me encouragement and suggestions in a friendly and respectful manner and that's not a problem. I wasn't referring to you. We have spoken in the past about Sam and I respect your opinion. You're right about what you said about Sam's handler having to put in some work, and that's on me to either do or have someone else help me. If I ever did decide to sell him I would keep you in mind because I know you could put in that type of effort with him. But for now I am content to keep him and work with him at my own pace. As you said, warmer weather is coming and I know some good places in the flat lands that aren't too far away where we plan on going. 😃 Plus I think we are going to have a couple more pups by that time as well.

as of right now I am planning a cross

on a direct son of Lock box that should be a grand nite ch before we get the cross made. He just likes a couple of wins and is not yet 3. He is loud as a freight train and doesnt weigh 48 lbs soaking wet.
My gyp is one of the best looking hounds you will find. small tight built with dark eyes and I will start showing her on the bench next weekend. She is a grand daughter to world champion Rock River Gap and and Gr. nt ch. Hard Rock Cafe on the top.

Goes back to hardwood Maniac and World ch. "X"jr on the bottome side. Goes back to Sackett Jr. 4 times up close

she is a nice little hunter who hunts busy and not out of the country. Has one of the best tenor bawl mouths I have ever heard. Not that it is super loud, just draws it way out on track. super changeover and solid, chop mouth tree dog. I can send videos of her treeing just so you can hear her mouth on the tree.
Intense little tree dog.

Bodacious in a bad hombre'
Every competition cast he has been on he has treed a coon alone somewhere. when you realease him its like releasing a tornado.

He is by the probably one of the best if not the best cross on Lock Box. Is mom is Gr. ch. Stevenson's Dancin Rabbit Boots.

This cross has produced over $ 10,000 dollars in dogs that were sold from it. 4 of them sold for over 2 grand and one for 3 grand.

Unless keith changes his mind. Weego will be is next stud off of Box.
Bodacious and Weego are littermate bros.

Ill post this cross on the walker stud page under my kennel when she comes in heat and we get her done.
I plan on putting a gr. ch title on her. I dont competition hunt. Im just a pleasure hunter that enjoys breeding and training top dogs.

4 are spoken for and the cross hasnt been made yet if that tells you what folks think of Bo and my gyp.

I got one off Lockbox and a Bone Collector female from Keith he said he wouldn't be suprised if she treed one turned loose when she was 6 months old by herself.Well she turned 6 months old the 30th of Jan she has only seen one dead coon.I turned one loose tonight waited about five minutes turned her loose she trailed it around made a loop and trailed it right to the tree and reared up on it.Maybe nothing earth shattering but I was impressed.

Jason i got me a Lock Box pup booked 1st name on the list.

Down your way a piece but not going to say where until the breeder advertises his pups.

About another 25 or so days to go before pups to be born if ever thing goes well.

Jason we will see if an old man can handle one of those Lock Box pups> lol.

I got the two best handlers in the surrounding counties lined up to hunt just about ever night.

I also have a deposit sent for a Swamp music Boone pup out of Pride and Ruby.
Boone dogs i do know for i have owned my part of them so it want be like a secret weapon or nothing unexpected by the way they hunt and tree.

Could be wishful thinking for neither of these pups are born yet just going to keep my fingers crossed.

Carl i dont know how the female is bred your going to get the box pup off of but i think u will love the way they start. Im just going by what dads pup put me through he about drove me nutts trien to break him off opposums and beleive me i tried it all and he still will tree one he just wont stay on it. I just sold one about 3 weeks ago i started and sold as a pup then the guy sent him up from texas and paid me to hunt him. Then he decided he was going to quit coon hunting so i bought the dog myself. Very nice young dog and the ones ive had have been very accurate. Which goes along way in my book. Im sure u will like th one your getting. I dont have a box dog on the place now. I got a 7 month old pup out of tall timber lil x and a insane cain female. Hes running and treeing a lil bit by his self. Ill be glad when spring gets here cause its been rough to find good tracks down here this winter.

that is one good looking loud mouth pup. May be one of the nicest full muzzled pups off of Box I have seen.
She has a bright future ahead of her.

keith has a bone female

bred back to Box...the first cross is doing real well from what Ive heard. He has two litters due out of Weego his stud off of Box. I would highly recommend one of those. I would get on some kind of list if I were you. I am going to breed one of my main gyps to Weegos brother down the road from me later this spring or summer when she comes. in. they are coondogs and some kind of loud and good looking to boot. They have better muzzles than box.

Weego is by Box and my boots female who was a grand daughter of Rat and Bark.
