Hounds who have lived in the house here:

GRNTCHGRCH Robinsons English Looser

GRNTCHGRCH Boughtons Red Ruby

GRNTCHGRCH Timber Valley Queen

NTCH Ozarks Rebel Battle Cry

NTCHGRCH Timber Valley WY

every one of those had manners in the house, and owned the woods as well.

My daughters dog Insane Sam out of Turpins Stylish Clyde and an Insane Cain female is the quitest dog at home that i have been around in 50 years of hunting.

He don't bark for any reason around the barn truck pull up with dogs barking in box he don't bark but a whole different story when you unsnap the leash.

Line them up boys unsnap and let them go just like three or four race horses fifty yards up the road or hollow he will make a quick right or left and that will be the last time you will see him with another dog unless another dog goes to him and that has not happened yet nothing for him to travel 10 to 12 miles on the garmin in one night.

He can cover more ground in the smallest amount of time of any dog i ever been in the hill with you notice i have not said he is a finished out coon dog that could be awhile for there is a long story behind his training and we have started all over again on a lot of simple things that i use to never give a second thought and if he does come around and stay treed at ever tree he trees up he will be the kind of dog that all these hunters want in a no return until treed dog.

Yes Sam may still have a few problems that need to be worked out, but as far as behavior around the home goes, he is very good. I have seen dogs that would trip you up all kind of ways and jump all over you when you go to feed them. Sam never does that, he is good at waiting patiently off to the side while I get his food ready. He has some allergy problems, and is excellent about letting me clean his eyes and ears when they need it. I've joked about seeing if he would let me brush his teeth. lol

Easy to live with dogs.

I have got a whole kennel and half a house full of dogs just like that. It is a trait that I specifically breed for, very successfully. The cornerstone of my breeding program is my Leopard stud Grnitech Grch Cash's Camo Jug of Shine. It is a trait that he throws in purebred as well as crossbred litters. My dogs also handle like border collies, and I can show you dog after dog after dog across the country out of him that is exactly the same way. Only time you need a leash is on Saturday night because of the rules. Old guys love hunting with my dogs, but so do the young hard chargers. Shine is about the most mellow dog in the world until the sun goes down and the boots come on, then he flips a switch and let's her buck! He only has three legs now, but still has more hunt in him than most 4 legged dogs.
