Where are you getting 4th tree for the me too dog? A me too babbling dog will have 1st strike and 2nd tree, which if my math is correct is 175. The 4th strike 1st tree dog will get 150 for doing all the work.

There's really not much you can do about it so try to do the best you and your dog can and enjoy the hunt.

Jackson yes i have and i will not put a dog in the hunts that i can not take 95% of the first stricks with and 95% of the first trees with. all the dogs listed under my name was all 1st and 1st type dogs and they all did it onest.

That's pretty impressive for sure. I'm surprised more of them weren't finished to GrNtCh's with getting 95% of first strikes and first trees. Any dog that does that is bound to be tough to beat. Congrats on hunting/training such fine hounds.

People are lucky to get a true 1st and 1st type dog a couple times in a life. To be blessed w a kennel full is amazing.

The guys taking the hunts real serious and hunt every night getting ready usually have winning dogs . A book full of rules fine tuning toward what some think is perfect won't bring back the glory days , nothing is going to. In the mean time don't cut out the kids & beginners by making it tuff for them to compete and learn . If you want to hunt for big money go do it , it's there . For me I could live with less than half the rules we already got .
It's time UKC started submitting changes THEY think they need to keep their business competitive instead of taking every big, new, done before, out dated or goofy thought somebody thinks has to be done .
