You can just blow in it. If you want to practice some other things that is great also. The bottom line is just blow in the larger end. Please make sure the squaller is pushed together tight and the lanyard is around both sections in case it comes apart. My buddy just blows in his and shows us the coon all the time.
I thought about putting together a package deal on the Chaterbox Squaller and the HotSpot light but that would be fair to the coon,
