Crazy James called and woke me up early this morning. He said that he just couldn't wait to tell me how good The King looked last night. Apparantly The King put it on two of his buddy's Gr Nt Ch English dogs. James said that they probably won't hunt with him any more. The King treed a coon that they acted like they couldn't even smell. He said that if I breed Wendy to Moose again, there are 4 or 5 guys up there that want a pup.

I got another phone call from Crazy James. Some guy called him and said that he had a female in heat and he wanted to know if the King was a Performance Sire yet. James had to tell him that it was a little too soon to be breeding The King.

Oh my goodness, Bond called me this weekend to tell me that he and Rachel got a 1st Place win. That is another one on her way to Grand. And I just got a call from Clayton Davis down in South Georgia. There are so many gators out this year that he is afraid to turn Bucky loose so I am going down to get him and hunt him this summer. He said that they had seen 3 gators in the woods right behind their house. I wonder what I could do to pass the time while I am there? And the biggest news of all is that Wendy is back in heat and will be headed up to meet Gr Nt Ch Hutch's Big Walnut Boone this weekend.

L's Dark Timber Bucky is now 13 mos old and back in Tennessee until it cools off in South Georgia and the gators slow down some. He has been sitting up for 2 mos now but it doesn't seem to have hurt him.

Since this is a Moose X Wendy thread, I would guess Wendy. Bubby, it sure is hard to tell these dogs apart from a picture.

Bucky treed a coon in front of his mom last night. I sure was proud of him. He is not much on hunting and trailing yet but he sure can get treed and sound so good doing it.
