Here are some pics

of the whelping box. The top box shows the lid open the bottom shows the front. The 3rd is the inside.
The Dimensions of the box are 33 1/2" square, and 21 1/2" high . It has an Air vent under the eve. and a lid latch to lock open, and a latch to close.

PRICE $220 Picked up.

Hi Mike

We got the whelping box just in time. Got it ready for
LEMS GRUMPY shortly after you left, and she is having pups
in it right now. She thought it was an improvement over the plywood box she was in.

Larry I just bought one and am going to put rails in also. What size did you use? And I see it's not all the way around what made you decide that, just size?

Mike and I talked about putting in a rail, and how to use the
PVC. I used 3" with the 90s having a 2" outlet to the side
in the middle to hold it up from the floor by putting 4" long
stubs in the 2"outlets. The reason I didn't do all 4 sides was because I ran out of time and material. Grumpy was ready to whelp in it any min. This rail can be lifted out when
you want to clean it.

I have used PVC as a bump rail for several years. Its quick easy and affordable.
Smoke these boxes are very roomy..easily handle larger hounds.

FYI Earl also builds Beagle Boxes.
