I enjoyed it Dan. What I gather is they can use the alpha during a timeout. Big deal use it during a time out. But won't be able to get it till they go get it out of there truck. Cause if they using it in the woods there scratched. Only way. And also the use of a garmin will eliminate the hour scratch rule by a lot. Not gonna happen as much. My thoughts are I would not use a alpha at the hunts. To eliminate any problems or accusations. So alpha left in the truck. Use them during timeout. But I guess the cast would have to see this handler go get it at the truck. Cause if he whips it out to tone his dog ; he gonna get scratched. Other than that there will be no scratching.

See, I'm one of those uninformed who would absolutely scratch anyone with an Alpha on their person as soon as time in starts. If I'm wrong, and apparently I am, then higher powers can correct me. But in the woods, Alpha gets you scratched.

That is why I added that question to another post that Allen has already answered.
We need to get these rumors weeded out as to what is allowed .Too many that are being started with no foundation other than a he said /she said .
