1. Scoring a tree
2. Calling time out
3. Whether or not a tree has been previously scored
These three things take a Majority vote to get a decision.
With a hunting judge, The judge makes all other decisions. If someone disagree's they can question the call and ask for it to be voted on. It takes a majority vote to overturn the Hunting Judge. I also like the way the advisor addressed some issue's with "Hunting Judge's take Charge"
All night voting makes for a terrible hunt. I wish the judge was the judge and that was it. A club could find out quick who to hand the card to if the voting was eliminated except for those 3 things up there.
I took a minus and lost a win one time on a big hunt over a 3 dog cast and the other 2 handlers voting my dog moved when in reality he did, but it was a blown down tree in the bottom of a creek bed laid over into another tree with the coon there. All my dog did was climb up the blow down, they minused me before we ever got in there to see what happened. The other dog won 5th that night off the 50+ it got from that tree. my score would have been 300+ but I had gotten in trouble earlier and took a hard minus on a slick tree. notice I said I took my deserved minus without an excuse.lol That vote put me out of the cast. They got me and Im ok with it, you hunt you learn. Voting on everything really doesn't help imo other than giving "teams' another way to handle you lol. Very good thread guys.
