Really surprised by all the CZ toters. Not many folks round here know what you talking bout with CZ. I can guarantee it is the best value for a shooter straight out the box as you can find. One ragged hole is the out the box standard.

(Davy Cricket) Small, light, and has a hard firing pin so it will shoot all the cheaper brand bulk box shells with no miss fires. I love it

Here is what I use...10/22 with an old folding Ramline stock. They don't make the stock anymore but you can still find them on the bay. I hunt alone a lot so the Streamlight on top makes it easy to draw an X. The pistol is a Ruger MKIII Hunter with a Nikon red dot. Might replace that with a laser soon.

Wintertime, I use a Ruger 10/22 with a Bushnell scope and folding, telescoping stock. It sure is easy to carry in thick brush and that scope makes my poor old eyes a whole lot clearer.

In the summer, I use a Remington 572 pump. It will shoot long rifles, shorts, cb's..basically anything you put in it. With cb shorts all you hear from 10 yds away is the click click of the pump action. You don't even know when I shoot.

model 67A Winchester single shot.
used it 35 yrs or so.. so far.
and I have a fresh one, a even older model Winchester single shot in case I ever wear this one out.
gun collectors cringe when I break out the old Winchesters and tell em I use them to coon hunt with.

Remington nylon 66 nickel plated!!
I'm 35 been knocking coons out with it since I was a boy. My uncle bought it when they first came out can't count how many beaver ponds it's been dropped in but it's never been cleaned and still shoots great! Stock was taped up for years after a fight my uncle had with a pitbull at the tree one night but got a new stock after I ran over it about 18 years ago. I have my own just like it but there's nothing like shooting one out with uncle Neil's old gun. A lot of great childhood memories in that old thing!!
