The pups that I know of have big mouths and can get the job done. Pete has a good loud mouth and u can tell went he gets tree steady loud chop!

I have a female here from Pete x Beans....
She is turning into a nice female. Went huntin on her own at 8 months. Has good voice...steady chop on tree. Can move a track.
Was hoping for easy winter to sharpen her skills but the plan aint havta wait til warms a bit ......
Snow bun hole deep to an elephant on roadsides is reality fer now.
Stuffy had tht Pete dog trained to listen better than most labs.

Good blood, right kind ....period.!

Dwight...i m about 8 miles east of Platteville...
Truth b told I only untied a dog once since xmas.
Gotta be one of theworst winters I been thru in a long time.
Starting to get some of those ole timer aches and pains to boot...
I was darn tempted to cross that female I got on my Rocky dog.....
I gotta believe Pete will throw his share of coon dogs given the chance.
I wud think theyd b some go getters.

DWIGHT....the dog on the left is the Pete x Beans female.
She was ahead of the old dog most of the way to this coon on a 13 degree nite in Nov......she treed on a deadfall about 30 yards away or wuda been first......live and learn....lol

Looked for 30 yrs for one like him, stumbled upon him thanks to Tony Foley.
Yeah, he cleans up purty good for a Rat dog! Lol.

Took Pete out 2nite with 2 pups they treed one right way then Pete got split 950 yards from my pup both had a coon. Crossed Pete with a grnite out of B&Ds Blue Crook two weeks ago pups should be here in the middle of may will post more about the pups when it get closer.

Should be a good cross. Pete has proven himself and so has Mercedes I finnished her to grnitech at the reunion for Jack and had only hunted her twice. She drives a track hard and is going to be under a coon when you get there.
