I am smitten with her , I believe in exposure and putting em' through paces .. but also testing the water s so that they have the chance to surprise you .. and she does both ... she's never been out at night and last night she show more hustle and natural desire to go cause trouble than any pup I've ever had ...

Ron's pup from Ken Duncan ... she has got her feet under her and is a crackerjack , I wasn't sure she was exactly my style but her light bulb has come on .. she tries her best to load , handles great without testing my case ... goes to her pen and listens without any nonsense which is rare .... and this was the first coon she'd ever seen ... never even seen a hide ... I wasn't even messing with her but she let me know she wanted in on it ... always nice to see that from a pup's first introduction to game .

thanks , Heather .. she is just the happiest baby ever , we love her .... never thought we'd have one but now it's hard to imagine not having her ... you can't take her anywhere and it be a quick trip in and out .. everyone has to stop and play with her or say something ... I never know if I should just agree or say thanks .. I do good work , lol.

Ron , Claudine is the cat's meow in my book ... and after being around these dogs since I was a kid ... you learn to pick em' and has " it" .


Alexa learns new sounds and noises .. she loves to stick her tongue out and blow bubbles ... she is something else , I can only imagine how much self control it took for you not to split some heads .... but you know , I can testify that God gives us hardships growing up so that we appreciate the good things in life later and have more perspective .. I hate to hear or see kids being abused .. but , I feel the sorriest for kids that are so spoiled they don't know compassion.

We're having a Blast with your conversation with Alexa about the dawgs! She is beautifull and ROn, you are right babies are Godly... I"ve had self control issues in the past with kids and abuse.... I"m NOT good at holding my temper and I've done my share of housing kids in need back in the day... I have seen first hand too much of the results of abuse on kids. I"m grateful I was NOT abused! I DID grow up kinda rich... and i thank God my parents did NOT spoil us and we learned hard work(I know I've needed it!) MORE importantly Justin... they taught us a compassion beyond what most learn... I am so glad when I can use that to help someone. Of course being me I've spent alot of that compassion on animals and lately for some reason I keep taking in My Mums plants as they get to their last limbs...and I keep trying to "save them" LOL! My mum, at 94 is so blind she can't care for her plants as well..and I'm there only weekends so... weekdays are hard on them. and I HATE plants but find it tuff to walk away from a challenge??? lol!
Seriously I pray DAILY for an end to cancer and and end to abuse. Especially child abuse!

Two of the Luke males , Shawn ... Duke and several of his half grown pups that were running loose and treeing with him were stolen ... probably by guys selling for blood money if they still do that ... they drive around baiting dogs and nabbing then ... you used to get $35 out of big dogs , might be more now ... them scrapers can make a decent check if they can get 8-10 a week.
