Lots of meat scraps and deer meat cooked and mixed in with my dog food and fed warm. Been below zero most of Dec. here.

Purina Pro Plan. Dogs have great energy and coats look great. Regular stool as well.

Yeah the only complaint i have with Pro Plan is the price. I have two 7mo old pups that are on Pro plan and feed about 6 cups a day a piece and a 37.5 bag last about 3 weeks so i usually have to buy two bags a month.

Has anyone tried feeding Blue Buffalo,or Canidae? That's suppose to be much better dog food.

I have tried it and it gave my dogs the runs. Switched to pro plan and wouldn't turn back.

You should give ol roy a try. It will fuel your hounds past the rest of the competition.

Every dog is not the same by mine do the best on black gold 26-18 IMO there is nothing better dogs are healthy and plenty of energy to go every night i have fed several other feeds that were cheaper and after feeding black gold and figuring it up black gold is by far the cheapest because u don't have to feed near as much of it I would highly recommend every one to give it a try . And jim cox at black gold is a great guy to deal with !

I mix them together and feed it to every dog I got. I give them a can of wet dog food bout once a week also. Plus all the table scraps we got.

I feed Pro Plan Sport 30/20. Reason is I seen a lot of hounds this summer that were on it and they looked great. Pricey yes, but worth a healthy hound.

Dog feed.....

I feed Purina, mostly Dog Chow, and Puppy Chow. I am always open to good feeds. I never bash any bodies feeds. Purina is always what I go back to if I change for some reason .They put more research in there feed than any other dog food company. Research it......
