chris i was wondering how early barney started. i have a male pup off of thunder thats fixin 4 months. i believe it was possibly thunders last litter. really looking forward to getting this pup cranking and adding another black and tan to the books

You are saying thunder but I assume you mean gunner , we'll Barney started very young at 9 weeks old he was gone and I mean as far as any grown dog would go he would too, he started treeing at about 4 months old and was on his own at 6 months, probably the most accurate hound I have ever owned, if your pup is off gunner , I can tell ya about his pups and how they hunt I have owned 3 and 2 are still at my house and always will be , I have Barney and 9 month old Kate which is gunner by queen and she is just like Barney was for the most part ,tree dog and independent as hell slit lye slower starter than Barney but has a bunch of the same traits and ability. I like that name I'll bring Barney and trick or Kate will put them in the woods and enjoy the night my advice to you is put him inthe woods Barney was going with the dogs at 9 weeks old and would go every night and never slowed up them gunner dogs have lots of hunt I have 2 and the female is the same way go and go and more go she is 9 months and can smoke a coon track and the blow branches off the tree and yours will mostly likely be the same

hes already loud. trucks torn up so havent been able to take him with my female yet. hopefully truck will be done tomorrow. and he will not stay in the yard for nothing, thinks he has to run off everywhere

May 1, 2, and 3 in Ohio can't remember the town but it will take about 7 or 8 hrs to get there. I am going to be camping there from Wednesday - Saturday right now myself, Rainey Walker, and Mathew Atkins are riding together I will be pulling a trailer with extra dog box and all the camping gear on it and what ever else we have not sure yet but we may have one more spot in my truck not sure Charles Pullen may be going also if he is you are still welcome to camp with us and car pool and if he isn't ridding with us then you are welcome to ride with us, I will let you know if Charles is going.
