Turned him loose tonight. He had what i would.say was a slick. Switched him a little and scolded him. Sent him on. Went to the very next tree over and treed. By that time I was good and mad. Shined half way up the tree. Had the coon. So he pulled up short on the track.

Backtracking I'd say or not finishing his tracks . Try shining a coon sitting up along an edge and send him towards it . If he trails off that coon setting you have your answer . I'd crack down on those slicks hard

Turned him again at a different spot. Went about 50 yards never made a track bark. Located fell treed. Had the grease.
